Trichoma is an extremely common sexually transmitted infection (STI) that needs to be examined before pregnancy. While the disease is easily therapeutic and therapeutic, it may have adverse effects on your pregnancy. This article examines what trichomonia is, the symptoms of trichomonia during pregnancy, and the consequences of the existence of trichoma during pregnancy.

Trichomonia is caused by a protozo called Trichomonas vaginalis This is transmitted through vaginal, anal and oral sex and infects urogenital pathways. In some rare cases, the parasite can be transmitted to a newborn by the mother in tradition.

The parasite can infect both male and female urogenic organs, and while the majority of infections are asymptomatic, women are more likely to experience symptoms such as vaginal discharge. Ultra 50% Women infected with Trichomonas vaginalis experience vaginal discharge and about 10% of men experience urinary.

The fact that trichomonia is asymptomatic in so many people contributes to high infection rates, as you may not know that you have been infected without testing. According to the most recent prevalence estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), 2020 were appreciated 156 million Cases worldwide, with 5.3% dominance rates in women and 0.6% in men.

Trichomonia is easily treated with antibiotics, but the starting point is not healed, trichomonia in women not only causes vaginal discharge but increases the risk of women for inflammatory disease and the bad birth effects. In addition, haircut also increases the dangers of HIV infection.

Men are not safe at home – not only are they often the carriers of the disease due to asymptomatic, but the trichomonia that has been cured in men is directly linked to a higher likelihood of prostatitis, epididymitis and lower sperm motility. This means that if you are trying to have a baby, it is a good idea for both the male and the female to try to optimize fertility (among other reasons we are about to discuss).

Signs of Trichoma during pregnancy

So how do you know if you have trichomonia if you are pregnant? Well, although many women who have Trich – whether they are pregnant or not – do not have symptoms, about half of women have symptoms such as:

  • A little spots (blood) after sexual intercourse
  • Discomfort during sexual intercourse
  • Discomfort in urination
  • This is rare but some women experience discomfort in their lower abdomen

The timetable of symptoms begins varies from person to person. Some people begin to experience symptoms immediately after being infected, while others have no symptoms for a long time. This means that if you have recently been diagnosed with Trich, there is a chance that you have it for a while and the symptoms only appear now.

If you experience any of the above symptoms, immediately tell your professional to try for Trich and other STDs so you can get the right diagnosis and treatment. This is especially important if you are pregnant to mitigate the potential risk factors caused by STD such as Trich.

The test process for trichomonia is simple. Your professional will normally examine a coating of your vaginal fluid to locate the parasite. In some cases, they can also send a sample to the laboratory to undergo a more sensitive test.

Trichoma is caused by the same things during pregnancy with any other time. The parasite spreads through skin contact with skin, normally during sexual activities such as oral, anal or vaginal sex.

While condoms can reduce the risk of passing it, they cannot completely protect someone from Trich, as the parasite can go to another person from parts of the skin that a condom does not cover. Even if you do not show any symptoms From Trich, you still run the risk of transferring it to your baby at birth as well as any sexual partners.
