Torticollis is a disorder, commonly seen in infants, in which tight neck muscles cause the head to twist and/or rotate sideways. The most commonly affected muscle is the sternocleidomastoid (or SCM for short) – a large muscle that runs from behind the ear to the breast bone and collar bone. In a recent study published in the journal JAMA Network Open, Researchers conducted a cross-sectional study of black and white middle-aged women to assess the effects of diet (specifically, consumption of added sugar and key nutrients) on their epigenetic age. New evidence has emerged about the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Los Angeles County, according to a recent study in the journal PLOS ONE.
