Hiii! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? We’re enjoying some pool time after lots of rain this week, Pilot is home (wahoo!) and we have an NCL event. I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead! When do your kids go back to school? We’re just over a week away and I can’t even believe it. Liv will go to HIGH SCHOOL. How;!

(This week’s gorgeous flowers from Trader Joe’s. The entire bouquet was only $15 to put together.)
It’s time for our weekly Friday Faves roundup! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so please shout out something you like in the comments section below.
7.24 Friday Faves
Fashion, Beauty, Random:
A trip to Orlando! We headed to Orlando last weekend to visit our friends who live in Seville. They are in Florida for the month so it was our only chance to meet with them before school started. The crazy thing about pilot family life is that you can decide to take a trip at the last minute if there is availability. We were going back and forth on the options and figured we could make it happen maybe 36 hours before landing in Orlando.

(so thankful that our kids chose each other as best soulmates when they were 2 1/2 years old)
Whenever we see them, we pick up where we left off and the girls had the BEST time together. We stayed at a hotel with an amazing pool and lazy river, did a day at Epcot, Disney Springs, dinner at Medieval Times and just enjoyed hanging out together. It was a 5 day trip and we had so much fun during that time. it was perfect.

It’s worth mentioning here that Epcot was a BLAST. It hasn’t been many years since we usually choose Animal Kingdom or Disney World, but we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the rides (Test Track and Ratatouille were amazing and the kids were obsessed with Figment), and the slower pace. It didn’t feel as busy or chaotic as the other parks, and the fireworks display was incredible.

Also, for my gluten-free friends, I have two 10/10 meal suggestions for you:
(since we booked it at the last minute, I didn’t have time to plan as well as I usually do, but I found this Instagram page and it has TONS of gf options!! I made a food reservation while hiding her page on the plane)
Chefs de France at Epcot. They were so knowledgable about gf options and brought gf bread to the table for me and P,

and the chocolate mousse kids were to diiiieeee about.

Shaved ice in Japan is also gf and you need it. (With coconut cream on top!)

(EXCEPT I put in pressure studs that lasted a day and put them in backwards. I’m a pro as you can see)
My other rec is Sunny Lake House at Disney Springs. So many of their menu options can be made gf, the atmosphere and food were fantastic. It was dark while we were eating, but you get the idea with this GF CHEESE BREAD. AHHHHHHHH.

Loving this Dress Dry! True to size and the fabric quality is great.

NEW goodies from my friends at HigherDOSMI! I was sent their new Healthy Hair Ritual set including a skin stamper, their new light activated hair serum and the amazing accupressure brush. You can stack the full routine with my favorite red cap. Check out the new set here and use LIGHTACTIVED for a discount until tomorrow!

Read, watch, listen:
I have watched this way too many times.
Finish this book (he devoured it on the plane) and getting into it.
What is your bad language policy?? We’re tough on it here, even though I admit I let an F-bomb slip every now and then lol.
Don’t forget to check out my Nordstrom Sale favorites here!
A great podcast episode with two of my favorites.
Fitness, health and good nutrition:
The return of the famous Jennifer Aniston Salad. For soccer practice nights, I usually make something ahead of time that I can eat while P plays. I eat at every practice lol. For this, I fried some chicken legs and chopped them up and served with a side of pineapple. So easy, so good, and the leftovers are amazing for lunch the next day.

You don’t need to exercise to see benefits.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend and see you soon!
xoxo
