Addgene, an organization based on the purpose of helping scientists to carry out experiments more easily, speed and reproduction, has today announced a strategic collaboration with Promega to expand Addgene’s huge Plasmid Repository with the launch of the Plaidi Plaidi Collection. This new offer provides industry and academic researchers wide access to reliable high-value plasmids designed to study target engagement, protein-protein interactions and targeted protein degradation, unlocking strong ideas.

“Extension of access to high quality research materials is central to our Addgene project. This collaboration with Promega marks a key step forward in our efforts to carry out this mission” said Chonnettia Jones, Ph.D., President and Executive Director of Addgene. “The Promega Plasmid collection not only differentiates our catalog with new plasmid offers, but is also based on the growing collection of Addgene materials available to industry researchers. I look forward to seeing the scientific progress made possible by the widespread availability of these valuable tools. ”

The initial launch of the Promega Plasmid collection includes 300 plasmids available as a traditional bacterial form or as a cleaned DNA – a new service offer that enhances the growing product portfolio of Addgene. The Promega early access program has emerged, the Promega Plasmid collection will provide researchers worldwide high quality materials that can be exploited to discover medicines and clarify the biology of the street.

Under the terms of the partnership, Addgene will store and distribute the plasmids provided by Promega – by applying quality controls, customer support and legal approvals to all orders.

We are excited to work with Addgene to increase access to plasmids that have developed through decades of innovation in Biofotasy technologies in Promega. Designed through the development of real -world identification, these tools provide performance and reliability. This partnership allows researchers to integrate plasmids into their work flow more effectively and helps translate ideas into answers faster throughout academic and industrial research. “

Vanessa OTT, Senior Director of Life Science Management and Marketing Product Management, Promega

Scientists can now have access to the Promega Plans Collection through materials in the Addgene electronic directory, providing researchers quickly and easy access to reliable, quality-controlled plasmids-cortexing flows of cell test work.

The collection will be expanded, with about 300 additional plasmids already scheduled for release in the coming months. For more information, visit Addgene’s Plasmid Plasmid Collection page.
