Olive Tree People just released their Olive Rose makeup line. Here are the new products and my thoughts and review!

I just got my hands on the brand new Olive Rose makeup range from Olive Tree People. The range is water-free, infused with skin care, enriched with hydroxytyrosol, one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants derived from olive trees. This is the same ingredient found in Oliveda skin care.

These products don’t just make you look polished – they nourish and protect your skin with every use. They’re also cleverly designed (like the blush and eyeshadow) and the new pump form of the Skin Tint serum is a HUGE improvement over the dropper.

You can view and shop the entire collection here: Olive Rose

Why “waterless” makeup?

Traditional makeup is mostly water — but Olive Rose replaces water with olive leaf cell elixir, rich in antioxidants and skin-repairing nutrients. This means:

  • Higher concentrations of active ingredients
  • Stronger, more stable formulas
  • No thinning or fillers — just pure, care-quality makeup
  • More bang for your buck!

The Olive Rose makeup line

Skin Tint Serum

This is a lightweight tinted serum that hydrates, evens tone and gives a “your skin but better” glow finish.

  • Enriched with hydroxytyrosol, hyaluronic acid and peptides
  • Improves elasticity and protects against environmental stress
  • Ideal for natural, breathable coverage

old bottle vs. new bottle

This product came out last year and I found the dropper style bottle to be annoying to use. LOVE THE NEW PUMP! This will be my new favorite tinted moisturizer. The formula also has some slight tweaks and is more of a gel texture (similar to Dime Wonderscreen). It also smells clean and fresh. You can use it shadow detector to choose your perfect match. I’m wearing shade 5!

HT Blush Glow

Multipurpose cream color for cheeks and lips. I LOVE blush sticks and have been using Ilia until I ran out a few weeks ago. Very good time for arrival. Drawing and lightly blending makes blush SO easy.

  • Made with hydroxytyrosol, nourishing olive oil and a cushion base of vegetable waxes and botanical oils
  • It offers a natural glow with conditioning benefits
  • You can use it on the lips too!

HT Shaping Contour

Similar to blush, this is a waterless contour stick that spreads and blends easily. I’m not super talented in that department, so I haven’t tried it, but I’ve seen some great videos of using it with blush together.

  • Easy texture blending for seamless definition
  • Enriched with active olive ingredients for skin care

HT Lip Butter

Super emollient lip color that nourishes while adding subtle pigment. It’s like the Beautycounter Jellies that I love so much! The color is perfect.

  • Moisturizes, smooths and protects the lips
  • Perfect everyday lips are a must

HT Volumizing Mascara

This new mascara lifts, thickens and defines lashes with nutrients so your lashes grow longer with use. I love the brush and I have sensitive eyes and haven’t noticed any irritation since using it. The formula is also light enough that you can build up coverage without fear of clumping. It’s very similar to Counter’s mascara, but the brush is more of a caterpillar style.

  • It has hydroxytyrosol, olive leaf cell extract and Arbequina oil to nourish, soothe and protect.
  • Strengthens eyelashes over time
  • Smudge-resistant formula with antioxidant protection

HT Skin Glow Setting Spray

A final step to give your skin a glowing finish. I love the light rose scent and hope it helps my makeup last longer and stay put.

  • Blurs and blends makeup seamlessly
  • Adds a hydrated, dewy glow

HT Serum Concealer

Brightens, smoothes and conceals while caring for the delicate skin under the eyes. I didn’t order it because this is my favorite eye product, but if you like a traditional concealer, this one is already loved by the Oliveda community!

  • Creamy formula with high adhesion
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines
  • It offers antioxidant and moisturizing benefits

HT Pearl Primer Serum

This was so popular that it sold out on release day! It’s an all-in-one primer that combines skin care with makeup performance for glowing skin using hydroxytyrosol, hyaluronic acid and skin conditioning emollients. I haven’t ordered this (yet) because I’m more of a makeup minimalist, but if you wear foundation, this is for you!

Shortly!

HT Weightless Eyeshadow

Perfect for quick swipes, finger smudges or diffused detail, it’s the go-to eye shadow. I love that it’s another stick product versus a cream eyeshadow.

Why you’ll love Olive Rose

  • Harmony makeup + skin care for lasting results
  • Anero = more active ingredients, less filler
  • Without fragrance, silicones, parabens and sulfates
  • Ideal for daily use and for all skin types
