This creamy tuna pasta salad is a delightful combination of red pepper, capers and creamy yogurt dressing, with fresh herbs and lemon. This creamy tuna pasta salad comes together in about 20 minutes and keeps nicely in the fridge all week, making it perfect for lunches. Flaked tuna, fresh herbs, capers, red pepper, and a tangy yogurt-mayonnaise dressing make this easy pasta salad anything but boring. Because this tuna pasta salad works for meal prep Even though I’m not a huge prep person, I love making a big recipe that can carry my lunches through the week. I’ve made make-ahead…
A research team has developed a multisite-mediated lateral flow immunoassay (mbLFIA) that enables highly sensitive, portable detection of mosquito-borne viruses, using Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) as a model target. By redesigning nucleic acid amplification products to create multiple bridging sites and coupling this strategy with gold@platinum nanoparticle-based colorimetric amplification, the method achieved an optical detection limit as low as 2 pmol·L−1 for CHIKV. The work offers a promising diagnostic platform for rapid field testing, outbreak surveillance and infection control, especially in resource-constrained areas where conventional laboratory instruments are difficult to access.Mosquito-borne viruses, such as CHIKV, dengue virus, Zika virus, yellow fever…

This distinction matters, and this guide covers exactly how it works, who it works best on, and how to use it properly. Summary: Large social gatherings can make the spread of STDs more likely.Practicing safe sex can reduce the risk of infection.Alcohol, expanding social circles, and new environments can lower inhibitions. Major sporting and cultural events can bring people together in exciting ways. They can also temporarily change the way people socialize, travel, drink, date and make decisions about sex. Do you enjoy protein shakes, adding protein powder to your smoothies or using pre-workout protein mixes? My friend, Emily, is currently in her first trimester and loves getting extra protein. Before she got pregnant, she started power lifting, which was accompanied by extra protein supplements. Once she became pregnant, Emily asked me, like so many others in her position, if she could continue taking protein supplements during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. In any pregnancy, there is a 3% chance of developing a birth defect. So I looked into protein supplementation to see if it changes the risk for birth defects,…
Hello friends! I have a brand new podcast episode live and today we’re talking about thyroid health, hormones and why so many women are told they’re “fine” when they’re absolutely not. I’m talking with my friend Ashley Cruz Arata, a certified Integrative Health Practitioner and hormone specialist. For years she was dismissed by doctors who gave her everything because “all the labs were normal”. Meanwhile, she was dealing with 35-pound weight gain, excruciating joint pain, brain fog, and crippling fatigue. She eventually healed herself and now helps high-achieving women 35+ get the real answers their doctors were missing. I think…
