Until a few months ago, I didn’t think my sleeping habits were a problem. For most of my life, I’ve been lucky enough to sleep soundly without waking up all night. But, regardless of whether I have 10 hours or 5 hours, I always I wake up groggy and feel like I’ve been hit by a train. I recently realized that it’s not my actual sleep that makes me feel more tired during the day – it’s my bedtime.

I’m an owl by default, and when I was younger it didn’t disturb my sleep as much because I had a little more flexibility in my daily schedule to be able to sleep late. Now, life calls for a much earlier wake-up call, and I find that I feel more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after nights when I fall asleep before 11 p.m. This puts me at proposed time frame about 7 to 9 hours of sleep.*

As someone who naturally stays up late, getting to bed before 11pm is a fight, and some nights, i just can’t turn off my mind. I started taking magnesium baths, stretching, and dimming the lights before bed to signal to my body that it’s time to sleep, but I always had trouble falling asleep before midnight — that is, until I tried Vimergy Restful You * Liquid Melatonin for sleep.

Melatonin for sleep

Melatonin is a hormone and popular sleep aid used to help the body sleep. As it turns out, the brain actually creates the hormone itself to support the body’s circadian rhythm and signal sleep. But in our technology-filled world, screens can seriously disrupt the body’s sleep cycle.

Adding melatonin like Vimergy Restful You* Liquid Melatonin to your nighttime routine can help counteract the effects of the hustle and bustle of life and make it easier for your body to fall asleep more effectively.*

Is melatonin really a good sleep aid?

According to researchmelatonin can not only improve sleep, but also help reduce the time it takes to actually fall asleep, making it a really good sleep aid for occasional insomnia. After realizing how much my late-night sleep was affecting my quality of sleep, I started incorporating Vimergy Restful You* Liquid Melatonin into my nighttime routine and was amazed at the overall results.

I love that the melatonin supplement is made with just four ingredients, including melatonin itself, organic glycerin, purified water, and organic lemon juice concentrate, meaning it’s a cleaner formula.* It also comes in a handy dropper that lets you allows you to adjust your portion size to suit your needs.+ And, as it’s moist, it also absorbs faster rather than capsules and gum.*

Method of Use

Using Vimergy Restful You* Liquid Melatonin is extremely easy. All you do is add a 1ml dropper to water, juice or even a smoothie. You can also take the formula straight on its own, but I prefer it in a glass of cold water or a cup of warm water with lemon juice.

The benefits of taking melatonin before bed

To be perfectly honest, I haven’t taken Vimergy Restful You* Liquid Melatonin in a long time (check back for my experience with it for a full month!). But after two weeks, I already noticed a difference. I’m usually much more wired at night and it takes a while for my brain to shut down. While taking this melatonin supplement, I noticed that my thoughts calmed down much more quickly, which helped me fall asleep with great ease. I take the melatonin supplement about 30 minutes before bed, and like clockwork, it starts naturally going down very soon after. Doing this allowed me to start my bedtime routine much earlier and eventually get me under the covers hours earlier than usual (especially on nights when I’m at my computer a little late to work).

After a few weeks of taking melatonin supplements, I fall asleep much faster and feel more motivated in the mornings to beat work deadlines, which has helped improve my overall productivity.* I also feel much less exhausted in the afternoons and have even started skipping my usual nap because my circadian rhythm is much more balanced.

Bottom line

After a few weeks of adding Vimergy Restful You* Liquid Melatonin to my nighttime routine, I can see how this formula will improve my sleep quality in the long run. While I’m already lucky enough to fall into a deep sleep and usually don’t wake up at night, I struggle with falling asleep. Taking this melatonin supplement before bed helped correct that, even on nights when I worked a little later than usual and felt the effects of screen time before bed.
