If you have even done a little googling for natural deodorants, you probably have encountered an ingredient more than any other: Bicarb soda (baking soda) – A natural fan -favourite renowned for authorization that is not a sky.

But here is the catch – while it works great for many, it can be a real rioter for sensitive skin. Here is what you need to know about Bicarb, what makes it problematic and why we have developed a whole series of deodorants that skip it without sacrificing performance.

Why Bicarb causes irritation?

Let’s get the feeling for a second. Your skin has a natural pH about 5.5. This is slightly acidic and is part of what keeps your obstacle strong, your germ -happy germ and irritation in the vagina.

Bicarb soda, though? Its pH is about 10. This is extremely alkaline and when applied to your cavities, it can disrupt your skin barrier, causing dryness, itching, sting or redness.

This is not the case with everyone – some peoples swear by Bicarb – but if you have sensitive skin or are prone to flames (such as our co -founder Aaron), it can be a piece of a dealbreaker.

Enter: Woohoo’s natural deodorants.

We love Bicarb’s bicarb forces, but we also believe that no one should choose between fresh stay and feel comfortable. That is why we have created a series of natural deodorants without bicarb that go hard on smell but easy on your skin.

Instead of bicarb, we use a smart complex:

  • TRIEHYL CITRATE – Stop the odor before starting by blocking sweat distribution
  • Zinc – traps and neutralizes odor molecules
  • Magnesium hydroxide – soft in sensitive skin, hard on smells
  • Bamboo – absorbs moisture to keep you dry

Each ingredient was carefully selected to deliver mild but strong odor control – so you remain fresh without the “ouch”.

Our natural deodorants without bicarb are creamy, effective and are done to keep even the most delicate valleys happy Chappy – all while delivering long -term freshness that sticks with you through the day (and maybe even tomorrow).

Well, who woohoo’s deodorants are free from Bicarb?

Here is the current composition of the gentle-but-small mixes that omit Bicarb entirely:

CHILL

Unisex and refreshing, the newest limited version and an immediate favorite! The chill smells like a crisp alpine morning. Think of mint, eucalyptus, vectioner, cedarwood & sage. It is cool, calm and collected in fragrance, but very strong when it comes to odor protection.

TREND

“For those who love a fresh, cool fragrance with a little earthly soul. Drift combines sea salt, melon and cypresses with a mint dip, lavender and orange for a crisp, relaxing atmosphere that is beautifully balanced and completely neutral. It is a bicarb -free beauty that proves soft can still pack a punch.

TANGO

For citrus lovers who like them a little by controlling their odor. Tango is bicarb without a personality, flavored with tangerine and lemon for a sunny mood lifting experience. A happy classic classic that smells like summer and feels like a smooth, butter hug for your armpits.

MATURE

Our most polite formula, made with sensitive skin in mind. Mellow misses not only bicarb but also essential oils. It is rigid, simple and seriously effective, ideal for extremely reactive skin or anyone who prefers to keep things without fragrances.

But wait … don’t you still do deodorants with bicarb?

Yes, we do it. And for many people, they work beautifully. In fact, we have worked hard to refine the types by adding soothing and balancing the ingredients to make them more skin friendly than most.

Many of the regular deodorants of resistance bicarb (such as urban and surf) can still be comfortably used by people with mild sensitive skin.

But if you had bad reactions in your past or skin is particularly sensitive, you might prefer to choose from our range without bicarb – and get away from the bicarb outstanding options – just to be safe.

Because we are so interested in your sensitive pits so much

Let’s take it back to the beginning …

Woohoo’s story really started with a smelly man and an epic case of Underarm irritation.

Over 10 (!!) years ago, Aaron (also known as our co -founder) had tried what he felt like any deodorant in the market (of course), but either let him dirt until noon or broke out in a fiery rash.

Frustrated and bored, he did what every good skin would do: he made his own.

Years of experiments, dozens of unsuccessful lots (and a sticky soufflé brown that we still laugh later) – but eventually nailed it. The first woohoo deodorant that kept him fresh, lasting and rash. Without water, effective and non -irritating – and has been failing since then.

Since then, we are obsessed with helping you find the perfect match match, whether you are a Team Bicarb or Team Magnesium (or both!).

And our customers? You have our greatest heroes. Each part of the feedback has shaped and cultivated our range.

Because the smell of fresh should not hurt your skin.

Are you ready to relax the irritation for the good?

If your pits have shouted about something more polite, our natural series of deodorants without bicarb may be exactly what they need.
