Here is a short life that recently, including a bad party, movie premiere, Spring Sports and many real foods.

If you haven’t seen any bad yet, that’s your sign is time! I hosted a bad watch party with a pink and green theme. Birch got into it, too! He was a big fan of the green ring. One of my friends had not yet seen it and said that “it was not a musical guy” and then said “ok kath, that was really good!” I made my time.

Fabi and Sean came dressed as Wizard! Gous was rooting for animals!

I turned the family room green with These electric candles and These twinkle lights. It was perfect! Can you find Birch?!

Les miserables

Also on the subject of theater, I went to see Les Miserables at Charlottesville Gymnasium. It was so good! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Les Mis Live, and it’s now one of my favorites! The students did a great job, especially given how many rehearsals that were supposed to have been lost due to snow days. I look forward to going to more musical musicals in other gymnasiums this spring.

  • Western Albemarle HS: Legal Blonde, April 10-13
  • Monticello HS: Chicago, 8-11 May
  • Albemarle HS: Sweeney Todd, TBD

Slasher’s nurse

And back to the movies – our friend Sean’s first movie premiered last month: Slasher’s nurse. They made a special appearance on the Cville for all the locals. I’m not sure when it will be ready for flow, but I will all let you know!

Here are some of the cast and the crew in appearance!

Before the movie, we went to Zocalo to celebrate. Of course I got the famous pepper.

And then we went to the jar of whiskey for their burnt fire! So good!

Sports

Does Ski count as Spring Sport?! We always forget to go to December / Jan and then match a few trips in late winter / early spring. Thomas and Mazen one day together last month and then Birch felt he stayed out, so Thomas took him for his first ski day next week. He did very well at the ski school and then went with Thomas to Bunny Hill sometimes (I didn’t go because of football / work, but next time!).

Spring Soccer has begun for both Birch and I!

We have some new players in our team who brought a series of spectators! So much fun!

This means I can’t walk Monday mornings 🙂 Green compass bathroom absorbs And Hypervice saves my feet.

Happy Bday da!

Everyone is wearing green for Destiny!

We celebrated that night at Bebedero!

RAFFLE!

How excited is B looking for his first bingo?! The raising money for the Foundation of Good Buildings through random series!

Ass

I shout at my friend Juan Pablo and his amazing Argentine bakery and cafeteria, Ass. If you are not – go! The coffees come with one side of foam water and biscuit. And Empanadas are so good!

Mama

I have spent hours helping boys dig Minifigs from loose Lego bins to make two of these boards. It was really a kind of soothing work and I was sad when we found almost all that. It is much better to stand in rows than in pieces in bins.

Let’s hear it for hot weather !!!!!

I have a full post on the coming blog that comes soon, but Mazen got a new bed of full size! We got the mattress from Naturepedic – the Hybrid Mattress Link Serenade on the pillow. The bed is the Emery platform bed by children PB. He loves it!

His friend Joe. Too big for the baby’s seat, but too little to want to walk. He was buried!

Spa day

Mom break at Keswick Spa. The best spa around!

Kath eats real food

And finally – some meals of real food!

Green smoothie
Classic oatmeal
Smoked salmon + yogurt dip lettuce wrappers
Egg + kale chip
Blue pasta
Pizza night with sautéed corn
Ginger pork
Chicken
Cod cake + bean bean bake
Yummy Pitas with beans and goat cheese!

I hope you have some time when you are!
