You may feel like you have to see some textbooks from the local hospital before you go to have your baby, but I’m here to tell you that is not the case at all. You really need a Skill, and honestly – many people are not good at it – so today I will share what the ability and how to enhance it in yourself.

Pregnant woman in the doctor's office. // You don't have to know everything before birth - you just need to know this thing

In case we haven’t met Hi yet, I’m Hillary – a lot of people know me as as The pregnancy nurse®. I have been a nurse since 1997 and I have 20 years of L&D experience as well as three of my own kids. I have read the manuals – And I’m here to tell you that this skill is probably much more important.

Before we start, grab my best work tips here:

Selected picture

What do you need before birth

You need the ability to make choices for yourself right now.

Yes, a birth plan is nice. I love you are at least thinking for the choices you will make at birth (and how to contact them), but the reality is that It is really difficult to make these kinds of options in advance.

You don’t want to cause, But if the baby stops growing in the uterus and must go out – Will you choose to do it?

You don’t want caesarean section, But if baby’s heart rate falls a lot during your work – Would you choose it?

In a way I think people think they can “manifest” these things that don’t happen to them, but I swear as much as you dig in your heels before The more Mother Nature shows us that she is responsible (which I hate).

So, they must Learn how to make choices right now. How are you doing this? Honestly, people are not often the best in it. When they come to these great choices in the workplace sometimes I get a lot of blinks and say “whatever you think”. But I think it’s something we can work on ourselves …

Here is 3 tips to enhance it by making good choices right now:

Make choices in prenatal appointments

Many prenatal appointments are just flowing. You’re not having to make choices during that time.

But when your provider offers a test or ultrasound Ask them why;

Sure, you’ll probably get that ultrasoundBut ask why?

And then make selection to get this ultrasound. Don’t let them make this choice for you.

Honestly, from abroad it looks very much like everyone else, this is really something that happens Inside you.

Here are some more examples:

They say to get a prenatal vitaminAnd you ask if they have one who can recommend or which vitamins you should check in what you have – and make the choice that is best for you.

They tell you You need ultrasound in your 3rd quarter – And you ask why; The baby looks a little small and they just want to be sure that the baby is growing up well. This sounds smart to you, so you make the choice to have this ultrasound.

And then the choices become bigger ….

The baby counts small and Constitute an induction. Again – you can ask questions and make the choice.

  • Maybe you think you could wait and get another ultrasound to see if the baby keeps seem like that
  • Or, you think it’s best to cause

Either way, you make the choice right now.

Btw, I have a whole place on what to do when the baby counts the big one who teaches this skill too!

So often online I see people say that “I choose not to have induction” when it’s average pregnancy and I think you can’t make such choices. Things change, change, change the baby. You have to learn to make choices right now.

Do not avoid options

This is one that I see a lot. My doctor told me that “I had to take ultrasound”. When I know very well that the doctor didn’t get you and brought you to this ultrasound.

I can’t tell you how often I hear people say that they were “forced” to get an induction.

And I understandThey felt out of control and as they had no options.

But I also see them avoiding the choice. They let the doctor make the choice for them.

Honestly, Taking options is difficult. I also run an organization class (why, why not) – and I see the pain of decluttering. They are constant choices if you are holding something, or let it go (and maybe you need it down the road).

Most people Ignore these options Holding just a lot of things in their home they don’t want (and then suffer from the consequences when they can’t put things away or find what they need).

But in the medical field, people ignore these choices and simply say that their provider “forces them” to something.

So today I want you to promise to start making choices.

  • Ask questions Of experts to get the information you need
  • Make a choice
  • Know that you could also change your mind If things change (I like this place)

I really see a fair amount of people taking a doula Help them to avoid options. They think Doula will make choices for them, when in fact a good Doula helps you simply with the process described above to get the information. A good doula makes not Make options for you. No more than a bad doctor who makes choices for you.

Get the basics

Okay, I said you didn’t have to read the manual. And I’m standing on it.

That is why you have a doctor – because they understand all this and can make recommendations based on what is happening with you and what the research shows. Namely their slavery.

But having some basic information puts you really miles ahead.

Things like:

  • Understanding third quarter tests So you can go more deeply about why your provider wants it for you.
  • How to Work at home for a whileWhat to do and how to make the choice to go to the hospital
  • How to use Natural pain management either instead of epidural or in combination with that
  • How induction happen, so you know a little more about what you are dealing with

I’m not saying you need to know about chemotherapists and baroreceptors and what happens to your oxygenation. This is not your job.

But you need to know the basics.

For so long we felt that Lamaze was what we needed to prepare for birth. While these classes were very useful, they were somewhat boiled under natural pain management.

Brand new Postaprtum Care class made easy / in this freepresentation Learn the problems of postpartum problems to make sure you have a healthy left

And finally, They do not help you with the unique ability you need – making choices when the time comes.

I’m not saying that physical pain management is not important. I say that It’s only part of the picture.

Now, where do you find something that can help you get the basics? I recommend this class.

Of fully feasible– Once the basics last about 3 hours.

Is taught by a impartial expert you can trust (So important in this area)

Are also budget -friendly– Unlike many other classes.

Oh, and I mentioned that this is Help your partner to support you In this great skill? You won’t be alone!

You can even start here today!

What do people love for electronic prenatal class for couples

Okay, how are you in this great skill? Is it something you could improve? Honestly, I think we could all improve this ability – and the more we improve with it, I think it will be the best health care!

When we say they are being prepared by the bass in bassinet, we mean it. It's an all-in-one pregnancy class with everything you need to know. The lesson can help you easily understand: Third trimester testing knowing what workout the physical management of pain hospital routines Healthcare Communication Pain Medical Management Using Motion in Lab Newborn breastfeeding and sleeping breastfeeding // starts just $ 89-Click here to find out more.
