The PregActive Pregnancy app journey

It’s all about ease of access when it comes to exercise, and even more so in pregnancy and postpartum. Today, I want to talk about our new Pregnancy workout APP and how it evolved.

Lack of time and lack of motivation are just two major barriers for women to start a new exercise program, and what adds to this lack of desire to start is travel time, poor class schedules, poor instructor quality, and inflexibility in the type and duration of the class. .

I hear it over and over again. “I wish I could, but (insert main reason for not starting here).”

The truth is that it is difficult when you finally make the effort to prioritize you and again everything fails.

It’s about your health and well-being

I’ve heard all of these comments and noted the biggest downsides to actually starting exercise are:

  1. Travel time that adds so much time to the time you have
  2. Course schedules that never seem to fit your schedule
  3. Trainers you really are not sure know how to modify for you
  4. Total lack of variety in category types and lengths

And especially for new mothers, one of the biggest barriers to implementing postpartum exercise (or pregnancy exercise if you have other children) is that:

There is no one to stay home and look after your child while you leave the house to exercise!

Am I right?

I know that was the truth for me. I wasn’t going to use all the babysitting points from my grandparents on regular exercise, and fitting my exercise in with my husband’s work schedule (and the baby’s sleep and feeding schedule), was very difficult!

The solution? The PregActive app.

Simple and effective.

Download it literally from the Apple App Store or Google Play and you’re good to go.

You don’t even have to remember your password after the first login (yes, read it again!). I’m not one to remember billions of different connections, so why should I expect you to?

You literally click the PregActive app on your phone and you’re in your workout in seconds.

Within. Seconds.

What;! It can’t be true!

I know it all sounds really good, doesn’t it?

And you know what? I don’t want you to believe me on all this. I want you to try it yourself.

The PregActive app is free

The PregActive app is completely FREE to download.

It includes a range of:

  1. Prenatal Yoga and Pilates
  2. Prenatal cardio and strength training
  3. Birth preparation training (including the Active Birth course!)

  5. Challenges of the mother after childbirth

Helping moms from 2025

PregActive has been helping pregnant women and new mothers for over 10 years now.

It all started in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. It was just a small yoga and pilates studio and I started with just one pregnant woman, who then the next week bought a friend. And then more and more women came.

It grew and grew, women loved it, the feedback was amazing.

But there was a problem.

Location and Time.

If you didn’t live locally and couldn’t come during that exact time – you missed out.

And I didn’t like that.

I wanted everyone, no matter where they lived or what schedule they had, to be able to enjoy what I had to offer.

And most importantly, I wanted them to feel secure in their pregnancy and postpartum journey, knowing that the exercise they chose to do was helping them and was good for the baby.

So then our online program was born! Years of filming and creating, trial and error, but most importantly hearing feedback from our moms.

I became pregnant myself in 2019 after literally over a decade of helping pregnant women and new mothers on their journey, I started my own journey.

And I wanted other women to be able to experience what I was experiencing.

My knowledge allowed me to create exercise sequences that helped reduce pregnancy-related back pain, helped reduce the intensity of pelvic girdle pain, helped me feel better in my body, and helped to prepare me mentally and physically for the birth.

To download ours FREE PregActive Pregnancy APP go to Apple App Store or the Google APP store and search for “PregActive”.

My childbirth experience

in January 2020 I gave birth to my first child and what a magic it was! The most incredible birth experience. So dynamic, so beautiful.

As the world went into lockdown, I expanded what I could offer. Literally women from the other side of the world were contacting me and thanking me for what I gave them in their time of need.

PregActive has grown and grown and now we offer a Pregnancy and postpartum exercise class for other personal trainers and group trainers to gain ante/postnatal training.

I’ll keep building, I’ll keep offering, I’ll keep helping.

Because there is a need.

And so, I’m here in front of you to celebrate. Thank you to every woman who has ever been a part of the PregActive community and to those who have given me their valuable feedback.

We now have daily registrations to our Studio PregActive online platform from Mamas and Mamas-to-be all over the world and I’m excited that we’re officially on the App stores!

My team and I are adding new content and programs and love nothing more than hearing feedback.

Here are some of the comments we received and heard:

The best online pregnancy and postpartum workouts to have:

  1. A variety of training types (yoga, Pilates, powercardio, stretching)
  2. Variety of workout durations (5 minutes, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40+)
  3. A community forum to connect with other women going through the same journey
  4. Special program for pelvic girdle pain (PGP or SPD)
  5. Progressive pelvic floor exercises for postpartum recovery
  6. Relaxing music with meditations and yoga sessions
  7. Ability to ask questions and receive answers

We listened and we delivered. Everything on this list and more has been implemented in our new PregActive app.

Our new and existing members absolutely love our new mobile app, here’s what they have to say:

So go ahead, do yourself a favor and download the PregActive app and get started today!
