Pull a chair, grab a Cuppa and settle because Golly Gosh, we have a history story for you.

It all started in 2010.

We (Phoebe and Aaron-partners in life, soon parents and now co-founders of Woohoo Body) lived in Newcastle, Juggling Day Jobs and are quietly wondering if life could be a little more than everyday grind.

We were not founders.

We were not “entrepreneurs” (yet).

We were just two wide eyes almost parents looking under the barrel of adulthood and realizing that everything was going to change.

A hit, a balm and a great idea

Phoebe was pregnant with our first bub. And like many expected moms, she began to see the world differently.

The supermarket corridor became a minefield. Each label was examined in detail. Each list of ingredients became puzzle. What she ate, what she was wearing, what she put on her skin … All this was now important because she no longer cared for herself.

Then Aaron disappeared in the kitchen.

Not for a snack (though there were many of them). For an experiment.

Looking at the talents of mixing cocktails in a slightly different direction, he hit a belly balm using nothing but natural, nutrients. Practically edible. Vegetable feed. Pure magic.

This little jar didn’t just rule out Phoebe’s belly, it caused something huge!

By a jar in a giant leap

Something shifted within us. It wasn’t just the balm. Was for the feeling:

✨ This may be that we could create something of our own.
✨ that maybe we didn’t have to spend the rest of our lives stuck in circulation.
✨ This perhaps, perhaps, we could build a life with more freedom, more family time and the occasional adventure of the beach and the middle week and the caravan adventure without having to apply for license.

We had no investors. We had no business plan. We had no idea what we were doing.

But we had:

  • Curiosity
  • Determination
  • A brand new baby
  • And a blender that will never smell the same again

So we did what he would do …

We started a skin care brand from our loungeeroom.

Cheerful skin care He was born.

The first days were glorious dirty

If you have ever had a newborn, you know that life is quickly chaotic.

Now add the mixing balm, label design and packaging orders to the mixture and you have the top DIY boot energy.

Our kitchen became the workshop.

The table became a package station.

The loungeroom was turned into a cardboard obstacle.

We poured, pointed out, packaged and turned our way through web design.

We once sent a full batch of face masks with the wrong lids 🙂

Customers took orders from our front terrace while we were shaking a baby in a hip.

And somehow … it worked.

People felt love in every jar. They continued to come back for more!

The markets would sell. The word spreads quickly. Companions told the comrades. Small stores began to ask us to save us.

And our little homemade skin care care began to cultivate roots.

Enter: The era of armpit

As Happy Skincare grew up, we noticed something funny.

Customers loved creams and balm …

But they continued to ask: “Do you deodorant?”

The natural deodorant had a moment. But most of them just didn’t cut it. Were either:
❌ Too much annoying
❌ very weak
❌ very expensive
❌ or smelled like a pharmaceutical wax of lemon

Aaron, a self -proclaimed sweaty man with very sensitive skin, had tried them all. And no one could survive Aussie’s humidity. It was either rashy, red or smelling like a lemon foot.

So we rolled our sleeves and got to work, plague armpits, modify the types and learn more about Bicarb’s skin reactions than it should be.

There were disasters.

There were very controversial Combos.

There were times What do we do on Earth?!

But in the end … we broke the code.

Body woohoo He was born. 🎉

From the smileeroom smile to the Full-Blown Fun Factory

Fast forward to the present day, and we are still the same family Aussie Biz, only with a few more help and much more natural types.

Aaron now has a fancy cosmetic chemical certification, which means that every type of woohoo is supported by real science. Everyone explodes with herbal goodness and is made to be ridiculously good for your pits and pieces (we even create hair products now!).

We made the decision to bring it all under a happy umbrella: Happy skin care has become a woohoo body, so everything is now living side by side. Deodorant. Skin care. Sausages. Bodycare. Natural and made with love.

Our central center has moved from home to a suitable Newcastle entertainment factory, filled with a mixer larger than a Thermomix and a team of absolute legends from all social strata.

But everyone’s heart is the same.

We still:
🧪 Care everything yourself

💛 Do you think small businesses can do big things

We never wanted to be a great “beauty brand”. This world never fits.

What do we do You want (and you still believe deeply) are:

  • Products that really work
  • Ingredients that are kindly on your body and on the planet
  • A business that supports our family and gives back
  • A community of incredible people who are interested in what they put on their skin (and cavities)

And you know what? We think we’re in something.

We now have 15,000+ verified website reviews. We have won a stack of awards. We have donated with a great charity. And over half a million armpits have tried woohoo natural deodorants!

What will follow?

Honest? We have no idea. And we love this.

We made this business from scratch – baby carrier, blender, dog and all (plus one extra child along the way). And we are still growing up.

There are more products to do. More cavities for protection. More people to welcome the woohoo crew.

So the next time you use one of our products, take a second to remember: you support a small family, a dream and a big heart that started in a newcastle loungeroom.

Thanks for participating, choosing natural and maintaining this fun world that entertains us.

We are so grateful to you !!!!
