I share some tips on why you should filter your air and my favorite home air filter.

Hello friends! How are you; I hope you had a beautiful morning! I have a few Zoom meetings this morning and I’m going to break up the day with a Sculpt Society class. I hope you have a great day!

For today’s post, I wanted to discuss Air doctor. We recently added three to our home and I absolutely love them. I’m excited to share the details with you!

Just like shower and bath water, it’s easy to ignore our indoor air quality. However, the air inside our homes can be filled with various pollutants that can negatively affect our health and well-being. That’s why air filtration can make a huge difference to your health, especially if you suffer from allergies. Today, I wanted to talk about the importance of air filtration, the benefits it can provide, and why AirDoctor it is my favorite choice for home air filtration.

the best air filter for the home (Air Doctor Review)

Why filter your air?

Indoor air pollution can come from a variety of sources, including dust, pet dander, pollen, mold spores, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from furniture and carpets, and airborne particles from cooking and cleaning. Without proper filtration, these pollutants can build up indoors, leading to respiratory problems, allergies and other health problems. By filtering your air, you can remove harmful pollutants and breathe cleaner, fresher air.

What can an air filter remove?

An effective air filter such as AirDoctor, can remove a wide range of pollutants from the air, including:

Dust and dust mites: Dust particles and dust mites can cause allergies and asthma symptoms.

Pet rubbing: Pet owners can benefit from air filtration to reduce pet dander, a common allergen.

Pollen: Pollen filtering can provide relief for people with seasonal allergies.

Mold spores: Mold spores are common indoor pollutants that can cause respiratory problems.

VOCs: VOCs emitted by household products and materials can be harmful when inhaled.

Bacteria and viruses: Air filtration can help reduce the spread of airborne pathogens, including bacteria and viruses.

How air quality affects your health:

Poor indoor air quality has been linked to a number of health problems, including:

Respiratory problems: Breathing in polluted air can make asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory conditions worse.

Allergies: Allergens such as dust, pollen and pet dander can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

Headaches and fatigue: Exposure to indoor air pollutants can cause headaches, fatigue and general discomfort.

Long-term health risks: Prolonged exposure to indoor air pollution can increase the risk of developing chronic health conditions over time.

Why choose AirDoctor?

I did a ton of research before making a larger investment in air filtration in our home, and here’s why I chose Air Doctor: (it’s worth mentioning here that I tried another brand and wasn’t impressed with it)

Advanced filtering technology: AirDoctor uses UltraHEPA and Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC filters to capture 100% of airborne particles down to 0.003 microns in size.

Comprehensive coverage: The One AirDoctor can effectively clean the air in rooms up to 2000 square feet, making it suitable for large living spaces.

Silent mode: AirDoctor it works quietly, allowing you to enjoy cleaner air without disturbing your daily activities. It’s a very soft hum and the 5500 is extremely quiet.

User friendly design: With easy-to-use controls and easy filter replacement, the AirDoctor is designed for trouble-free operation. I tend to get overwhelmed by new devices and this was super easy to set up and use right out of the box.

Trusted Brand: Backed by years of research and development, AirDoctor is a trusted name in home air purification.

Choosing the right size:

When choosing an air filter for your home, the biggest consideration is the size of your living space.

AirDoctor offers models suitable for different room sizes, ensuring optimal air purification for different rooms and spaces in your home. For larger homes, consider placing multiple units strategically to achieve comprehensive coverage.

Here’s what we ended up choosing:

– A 5500 unit for below. This is the biggest and quietest Air doctor! This thing is huge, sleek, super quiet, and can filter 2000 square feet of air 2 times an hour.

– A 3500 for up. These are large units and also ideal for larger spaces and high ceilings. This filters 1260 square feet 2 times per hour.

– Another 3500 for our loft bedroom and office

It’s funny because the girls were PUMPED for them when we got them. P was like, “Mom, I think we should have one in every bedroom.” I agree kid!! And that’s the goal. Our plan is to add one of the 2000 units to Liv and P’s rooms.

Air Doctor Advantages:

– Removes harmful pollutants from the air

– Improves indoor air quality

– Reduces respiratory problems and allergies

– Creates a healthier living environment

– Easy to use and maintain. I was shocked to see how easy it was to replace the filter!

Cons of Air Doctor:

– Initial investment cost. They are expensive, but right now they have a ton offers and packages here.

– Ongoing filter replacement costs

– Multiple units may be required for large homes

– Invest in an air filtration system such as Air doctor is a proactive step towards improving indoor air quality and protecting your health. It’s super easy to use, quiet and we’re all very happy with it so far. You can browse all the options here.
