I share my thoughts on OneSkin; a new line of products I’ve tried. I am excited to share my review with you! You can browse them all here and use FITNESSISTA15 with a 15% discount!

Hello friends! How are you; I hope you are enjoying the day and have a great weekend.

For today’s post, I wanted to share something new that I recently tried: OneSkin. I’m always interested in trying new skincare brands, and when I learned about this during the Biohacking Conference, I was intrigued.

OneSkin is a brand that has gained attention for its science-backed approach to skin care, particularly anti-aging. Today I wanted to talk about what OneSkin is, highlight some of their top products, discuss costs and weigh the pros and cons.

OneSkin review and whether it’s worth the price

What is OneSkin?

OneSkin is a biotechnology company focused on developing skin care solutions that target the root causes of skin aging at the molecular level. The brand’s mission is to extend the health and longevity of the skin by reducing the biological age of the skin. Founded by a team of scientists specializing in stem cell research, OneSkin combines cutting-edge research with high-quality ingredients to create products that promote healthier, younger-looking skin.

I got to hear founder Carolina Oilveira speak at the Biohacking conference and she was amazing! He talked about healthy skin habits and how the OneSkin technology worked. They’re using what they’ve called OS-01, which is a new peptide that targets senescent cells. Dr. Cabral refers to these types of cells as “zombie cells,” as they cause oxidation, which in turn leads to inflammation and is accelerated again.

Top Products

OneSkin offers a range of products designed to address various aspects of skin aging. I was definitely interested in trying the body products, like the SPF moisturizer and the body lotion.

Here are some of their special offers:

1. Person OS-01

The top product, Person OS-01, is a topical supplement designed to improve the health and appearance of the skin. It contains the proprietary OS-01 peptide that targets senescent cells, which are cells that contribute to aging and inflammation. The formula is also packed with antioxidants and moisturizing ingredients to support overall skin health.

2. Body OS-01

Similar to OS-01 Face, this product is designed for the body. It aims to boost skin health by targeting aging at the cellular level, promoting firmer and more elastic skin. It is ideal for areas prone to aging such as the neck, décolleté and hands.

3. OS-01 Eye Cream

The OS-01 Eye Cream specially designed to treat the sensitive skin around the eyes. It aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and puffiness, providing a more youthful and rested appearance.

OneSkin products are placed in the premium segment of the skin care market.

Here’s a breakdown of the costs:

Face OS-01: $120 for a 50ml bottle

Body OS-01: $89 for a 100ml bottle

OS-01 Eye Cream: $109 for a 20ml bottle

These prices reflect the advanced research and high quality ingredients used in the formulations.

In addition, OneSkin offers subscription options, which can save customers approximately 10% on their purchases. My discount code will give you 15% off, which is an even better deal!

Advantages

Formulas backed by science: OneSkin products are developed based on rigorous scientific research, focusing on the root causes of skin aging.

Targeted Ingredients: The use of proprietary peptides and other powerful ingredients helps effectively address skin aging.

Positive reviews: Many users report noticeable improvements in skin texture, firmness and overall appearance.

Cruelty Free: OneSkin is committed to ethical practices, ensuring that their products are not tested on animals.

Disadvantages

Price Point: Premium pricing may not be accessible to everyone.

Limited range of products: Although effective, the current range of products is relatively small compared to other skin care brands.

Results may vary: As with any skin care product, individual results may vary and some users may not experience the same benefits.

My thoughts:

I bought a few products while we were at the convention, including the eye cream, body lotion, and facial moisturizer with SPF. One thing I did notice, and I’m still trying to decide if it’s a pro or a con, is that the products have a thinner texture. They are not greasy at all and are immediately absorbed into the skin. I like this because my skin already tends to be on the oily side, but I also like thick, luxurious, super moisturizing products. It’s like my skin drinks the product right away, which means it absorbs quickly.

The bottles are a bit on the higher price, but I think it’s worth it, especially if it improves skin texture. I spent about $260 for the three products and I see each of them lasting two months.

I think the Tinted SPF is 100% worth it. – it’s the best replacement for Beautycounter dew skin I’ve tried and I love this one even more!

(I took a photo right after using this SPF tint. No filter, no other makeup.)

If you try a product, start with this. It’s $56 (you get 15% off with my code FITNESSISTA15) and I love the shade, the texture, the light coverage, and that it’s unscented.

I have only been using the products for a few weeks and I know it may take some time to see significant results. (I guess I’m spoiled by its almost immediate benefit Serum F59!)

Right now, my routine looks like this:

Day:

Vitamin C serum

OneSkin tinted moisturizer

Body: OneSkin body

Night:

Fresh cleaner (I have a sample of OneSkin but haven’t tried it yet)

OneSkin eye cream (it’s gentle on my eyes and fragrance free) or this eye cream– I like to change it up

F59 serum aka Botox in a bottle

Corrective face cream

Lip balm

Body: This body cream

Weekly: honey enzyme maskand Eminence Turmeric Mask

Overall, I believe OneSkin is a promising player in the skin care industry, offering innovative, science-backed products aimed at reducing the biological age of the skin. I think it’s definitely worth checking out or trying a few samples to see if it suits you! The travel kits they are priced lower and that way you can try them out and see if you like them.

So tell me, friends: what’s your skincare routine like right now? Do you rotate between different brands or do you have a few tried and true favorites?

ho ho
