Mumma bear It is an Australian family brand dedicated to the support of parents with affordable, high quality and sustainable pregnancy to the young child. Founded by the mom of the two Bianca Freedman during the challenges of early motherhood and the Covid-19 pandemic, Mumma bear It offers practical, environmentally friendly products such as fabric diapers, reusable pillows, self -service objects and TGA supports after childbirth. With a strong emphasis on community, customer service and environmental responsibility, Mumma bear It helps families browse parental care with confidence, comfort and love. Here Bianca talks to Natural Parent magazine about how it started in the business, Mumma bearParticipation in the community, the balance of motherhood and entrepreneurship and its vision for the future.

From races to solutions: How did Mumma Bear started

When Bianca became a mom for the first time during the first wave of Covid-19 in 2020, she faced the discouraging task of preparing for life with her new baby. With Limited personal shopping and a seemingly endless flow of online critics, comparisons and delays, even the simplest market became overwhelming. Add to this the economic challenges of parental license and the balance between quality, financial and accessibility has become painfully clear.

At the age of 5 months, Bianca’s low sensitization developed sensitivities to disposable diapers and their waste is almost half the family bucket each week. Determined to find a more viable and gentle solution, he discovered fabric diapers. But navigating the world of ice fabrics for the first time revealed its own challenges: finding products that balanced quality, cost and sustainability. Realizing that many other parents faced similar matches, Bianca raised to create Mumma bear-With a brand dedicated to providing high quality affordable products on which the Australian families could rely on.

Starting: A starting start with family

In April 2021, Mumma Bear was born with a small but carefully edited range of necessary: nappies; reusable breast pillows; wet handbags; Organic muslin swaddles. Each product was tested strictly and used daily by the Bianca family, ensuring that it met the real needs of parents and babies. Over time, as Bianca’s family grew up, so did the Mumma Bear series. Today, the brand supports families from pregnancy to childhood with products designed to make life easier and more viable.

From the beginning, viability was at the center of Mumma Bear’s mission. The brand is transferred from disposable plastic packaging to environmentally friendly choices that are fertilizer, biodegradable, reusable or recyclable. This commitment reflects Bianca’s commitment to helping families while protecting the planet.

Listening, learning and innovation

One of Mumma Bear’s largest cornerstone is his first client’s approach. Bianca takes time to listen to her customers, understand their challenges and create products that make the difference. This thoughtful feedback loop led to the creation of Mumma Bear’s self -service rangewhich supports new moms who often overlook their own needs.

One of the most popular products in the series is the Pregnancy approved by TGA and belly belt after childbirth. Designed for use during pregnancy, post-surgery and postpartum recovery, it is celebrated for comfort, financial access and eligibility for medical discounts. This product perfectly integrates Mumma Bear’s mission to support high quality families, accessible solutions.

By participating in the community

Mumma Bear’s dedication to families extends beyond her store. Bianca and her team are actively involved in the scene of the Sydney Children’s Market, creating opportunities to directly connect with local families. These events allow them to share their history, build relationships and learn more about the needs of the community.

In addition, Mumma Bear is committed to giving back. The brand is working with the Crisis Center for Women’s Home ViolenceDonate care packages and funds to support women in crisis. These packages include key elements for both moms and babies, offering a small but important source of comfort during the incredibly difficult times. This community -based approach is a key part of Mumma Bear’s values and mission.

Overcoming challenges: Create a credible brand

The launch of a business during a global pandemic was not a small feat. Bianca faced a busy market and the challenge to stand out among competitors. But by building a brand with roots in trust, care and education, Mumma has a unique space. There was more than a store-became a community where parents could find guidance, support and products on which they could rely.

Another obstacle bridges the gap between economic accessibility and rapid delivery. Bianca understood the frustration of the choice between long -term mission from local or high level options. Mumma Bear’s solution was simple but effective: it provides high quality affordable products with a quick delivery to Australian families. This approach was a game change player for many parents.
