Looking Back At 2025 And My Goals For 2026

Looking back on the year and sharing some of the things I’ll be working on in 2026.

Hello friends! what are you doing I hope you are having an amazing week so far. The kids are back at school, Liv’s 14th birthday is this week (HOW?!), and I’m just now starting to piece my life together. I felt so productive until we got to winter break and I very slowly started to get back into things.

I’m looking forward to finding a routine again, to some fun things to come, and cautiously optimistic about the new year.

Some personal moments from 2025:

– We went to Disneyland to celebrate Liv’s birthday

– Steak with friends

– The pilot retired from the Air Force

– We celebrated Wyatt’s Bar Mitzvah

– I sang Carmina Burana with the symphony choir

– My brother Bailey got married!!

– In my most seamless and successful travel plan ever, the girls and I took a European Disney cruise and spent 5+ weeks in Spain

– and the latest addition to our family: Lola the min goldendoodle. We are all thrilled with this sweet girl and Maisey is already loving having a sister. He’s definitely a puppy, but he has a lot of energy and doesn’t constantly pester Maisey. I can tell they will become the best of friends.

looking back at 2025 and my goals for 2026

Professional summary:

From one Integrative Health Professional In perspective, this has been a year full of learning, expansion and customer success. It was so amazing to see their wins and I sat over 100 lab tests last year!

I was a winner of the 100 day challenge thanks to your incredible support (#7 out of over 5,000 practitioners!) and was invited to speak on a health coach success panel with some other IHPs that I respect and admire so much.

I feel so blessed every day to be aligned with the incredible mission of EquiLife and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP and EquiLife is in store for next year!!

I hired a podcast manager and we saw 700% growth last summer, which was huge! He has helped me with show notes, editing, creating reels and full video episodes on YouTube. I took a little break for the holidays and I’m excited to be back at it with some incredible guests booked for this month.

I am also grateful for the affiliate partners, including Lumebox, Nutrisense, EquiLife, IHP, Shit, Higher DOSE, Danger Coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, Butcher shop, Blurred, Somavedic, Air doctor, Vivarays, Vivrelle, Hydrow, We feed raw, Sculpt Society, Olive tree and to all of you who shop through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog going) and I really appreciate it. I also started working with EllieMD this year because I love their products!

I launched Healing Codewhich is my new signature program, and it also started Rx Revenue as guidance for colleagues Holistic health professionals and health coaches looking to grow their business. I also hosted my first workshop and am excited to do more of these in 2026. stay tuned for details on the next one!! Our next group program, DetoxU, officially starts next week, so more info on that. Lots of fun stuff on the horizon 😉

My efforts this year will be focused on mentoring clients and program participants, my Revenue Rx clients as I help them build profitable and freedom-based businesses, and of course creating content on my podcast, Instagram, and blog/Substack.

In full transparency, the blog has had some highs and some… lows. When I started the year, ad revenue was CRUSHING it. I saw some numbers I haven’t seen since blogging. While we were in Spain, my ad revenue was the best it’s been in years. (Which validates my thinking that we do need to move to Spain.) Well, this fall, it all fell apart, it hasn’t recovered yet, and I doubt it ever will.

With Google’s constant updates and AI search, people don’t really need to click on blog posts to get information. Search was a huge referral for me, and now it’s bottomless. Ad revenue is now about 1/4 of what is typical for this time of year… and it’s expensive to keep the blog alive with all the costs involved.

The good news is that I have multiple streams of income – that’s why you can’t put all your income in one basket – but the bad news is that I think a lot of bloggers will jump this year. I started a Substack which reminds me of the old days of blogging; no ads, no typing for The Man (aka searching Google) and it’s just simple and fun. I’ll still be posting here of course, but if you want to follow along there, I’d love to see you!!

Personal and health goals:

My health goal is to keep working on the habits that make me feel better, like quarterly detoxessmart supplements, restorative practices, calling in nutrition, walking, workouts (I like a mix of strength training, barre, spin, Pilates, and hot yoga), and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins where I can, make up for deficiencies, and continue to use functional lab testing as an amazing tool. I feel proud of myself for taking charge of my health and getting to the root cause of what I was experiencing, as well as the ability to share everything I’ve learned along the way.

I feel like I can push things again with workouts and maybe even set some fitness goals for the new year 😉 I’m planning our summer trip (Tokyo and Seoul! Please, if you have some vacation time!) and I just want to get back to some of the things I let go when I was trying to navigate home instead of homeschooling, completing work and IHP Level 3 certifications, and more time with friends).

To continue to be the best mom, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to lead with a grateful, patient, loving heart every day. Some days are harder than others lol, but a morning gratitude check-in really affects how I feel for the rest of the day.

I would love to hear about your year and goals! What’s something you’re proud of from the past year, what are you up to right now? Do you have health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear them all!

I wish you a happy, healthy, joyful and prosperous 2026.

xo
