This training aims to strengthen people worldwide with knowledge and management tools and possibly reverse type 2 diabetes using evidence -based nutrition strategies. We extend our deep gratitude to the contributors who have made this lesson and are excited to make this information freely accessible in the hope that they will transform lives.

This course has been organized by Dr. Ronald M. Krauss, MD, Professor of Medicine at UCSF and UC Berkeley Auxiliary Professor of Nutrition Sciences, along with Nina Teicholz, PhD, honorable writer and scientific journalist. Together, they have edited a program based on evidence that causes conventional belief that type 2 diabetes is an irreversible years. Instead, the lesson presents an urgent research showing that the disease can only go into recession through nutritional intervention only.

THE Dietary strategies for reversing type 2 diabetes Training covers:

  • Definitions of recession and “reversal”
  • Pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes
  • The metabolic base for low carbohydrate and ketogenic diets
  • A review of the evidence of clinical trials to reversal diabetes through diet
  • Practical approaches for the application and maintenance of low carbohydrate diet
  • Case of patients who have successfully reversed their condition
  • A discussion with special knowledge and public questions
