The age of forty is usually that time when people start to have some psychological, emotional and physical changes, however, hot flashes, decreased memory and increased anxiety. This is especially true for women.

This brings us to the reason for writing today’s article, and that is to introduce you to an oil that can help with all of this. This essential oil is clary sage oil, which has been used for centuries.

People have used clary sage oil against the unpleasant symptoms that occur due to menopause. So, we will present you the best benefits that sage oil offers and how you can use it.

Sage is great when it comes to insomnia and improving sleep. This is because it is abundant in calming, stress-relieving and hormonal properties. You can make your own balm from this oil by adding 10 drops of sage to 1/2 cup coconut oil, 10 drops lavender oil, 1/2 cup olive oil, and 1/2 cup beeswax in a double boiler. Make sure to mix it well and let it rest for 10 minutes. When done, put it in another container.

This oil can help you carry more oxygen to your organs and muscles because it speeds up metabolism. It can also relax the brain and is great for the arteries because it lowers blood pressure. You can prepare it yourself by combining 6 drops of sage with 3 drops of cinnamon, 6 drops of rose geranium and 12 drops of mandarin orange. Simply mix the solution in a spray bottle with some water and spray it all over the body.

The oil can also increase the secretion of bile and gastric juice and relieve bloating, speed up metabolism, help against abdominal discomfort, cramps and indigestion. It is also great for promoting minerals and vitamins that can help improve gut health. You can also revive constipation and heal ulcers with it.

This is because it is abundant in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties, making it great for the cardiovascular system and lowering cholesterol. Simply prepare a warm compress with 5 drops of clary sage oil, place it on the abdomen and press gently.

Part of sage is linalyl acetate which is a natural phytochemical that can prevent acne and dry skin. It will also regulate oil production and reduce breakouts and inflammation. You can use it as a skin moisturizer. All you have to do is mix some coconut or jojoba oil with sage oil.

Sage oil is perfect for stress relief and relaxation and improving mental ability as well as reducing fear. All you have to do is add 6 drops of it to 2 drops of frankincense or orange oil.

The oil can help a lot when it comes to skin infections and wounds. This is due to its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. Just use 5 drops only because it is very strong.

Sage is excellent when it comes to cramps and all symptoms of PMS, bloating or mood swings. In addition, it can also reduce the desire to eat. This is due to its antispasmodic action which is very helpful for the uterus. It can relax nerve impulses and thereby relieve headaches or stomach pain.

According to a study by Oxford Brooks University, if you use clary sage oil in aromatherapy, it will help with anxiety, fear in women due to birth and physical pain. Also, if you experience severe period pains, you should put 4 drops of the oil in jojoba or coconut oil and spread on the stomach. It will help with the pains immediately.

Sage also contains a lot of dietary estrogen. These are natural phytoestrogens that are of great importance in regulating estrogen levels and promoting uterine health. Over time, we will all be at greater risk for cancer. Women are particularly prone to ovarian and uterine cancer.

If your estrogen levels are high, polycystic ovaries can occur, as well as infertility and estrogen-based cancers. Another thing that can affect this is a diet that contains too much estrogen. The oil we presented will help maintain a regular balance of estrogen levels.

According to a 2004 study, clary sage oil can also help fight depression. This is because it can increase cortisol levels by 36%. All you need to do is inhale the oil and that’s it!

As you can see this oil is very useful, especially for women. So feel free to buy and use it. It will help your health a lot!
