Hi girls, I hope you all learned a little about your breasts, especially in biology class or got a lot of information about your breasts when you got them. But do you really think you’ve learned all there is to know about your breasts? Well, that’s good, but there’s still a lot to learn about your breasts.

Below we provide some surprising facts about breasts and we bet you didn’t know them, so let’s discuss them:

You won’t believe it, but your left breast is bigger than your right:

It is proven that your twins are not identical your left is bigger because it is closer to the heart and all the arteries help to enlarge the left breast. Most people are right-handed, so you do a lot of work with your right and are therefore more toned, which probably means your right breast is smaller than your left.

Coffee can make your breasts more sensitive:

There is some evidence that caffeine may increase breast tenderness and pain, especially in people with fibrocystic breast changes. So if you are a coffee lover, it’s sad news for you as it might relax your breast size, but on the other hand, it might be good news for those who want to lose their breast size. According to research, if women drink more than 2 cups of coffee they have 17% smaller breasts than women who drank fewer cups of coffee per day.

Your breasts may leak:

Yes… this can happen and we are not talking about breast leakage during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Apart from that your breast when it is pressed hard especially during mammogram so it can be a sign of problem and it is time to see a doctor.

Breastfeeding actually reduces the risk of breast cancer:

There are many benefits for your baby and you. Women often get strong bones when breastfeeding because calcium is absorbed more easily during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding can protect you and your child from various chronic conditions such as Crohn’s disease, diabetes and also helps reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer in mothers.

No two nipples are alike:

YUP…..you won’t believe it, but there are actually 8 types of nipples and these are flat, puffy, short nipples, three tiers inverted. That is (inverted grade 1, inverted grade 2, inverted grade 3), long nipple and normal. Notice your nipple, what category do they belong to? So.. If not then start calculating your category?

Breast weight:

Most breasts weigh up to 1.1kg and contribute 5% to total body fat, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding your breasts can gain half a kilo each. You can also compare the weight of your breast with a melon.

Breasts need your care:

No one wants wrinkled and saggy breasts, then you should take proper care of your breasts for what you need to massage your breasts with essential oils to make them firm. If you have stretch marks on your breasts, moisturize your breasts daily. Just like your face, your breasts need some care, so don’t neglect it.

Say NO to smoking:

If you are a heavy smoker then it can be really worrying so stop smoking immediately as it can cause breast sagging. The strong chemicals present in cigarette smoke can weaken and also be responsible for skin aging because cigarette can reduce the blood supply to the surface of the skin. In short, it’s not worth it. Smoking is also responsible for discoloration and uneven skin around your breasts.

Bad news for alcohol lovers:

There is the most recent evidence showing that more than 3 or more than three servings of alcohol may increase the risk of breast cancer. Alcohol can also increase the risk of breast cancer. So avoid alcoholic beverages except red wine as it is considered a healthy alcoholic beverage. Instead of alcohol, you can try sugar syrups, soft drinks and other drinks.

Other breast-related facts:

  • Everyone has hair on your nipples, you won’t believe it, but it works as a turn off for males. You can pluck them with tweezers or simply cut them.
  • You need to take proper care of your lovely assets, don’t keep your personal assets sweaty as it can cause pimples and blackheads. During the menstrual cycle the texture of your breasts changes.
  • During periods your breasts become painful, swollen due to the increase in the hormone progesterone. But after your period your breasts become the smoothest part of the body for women.
  • And when you don’t have your period your breasts become the most sexually active part of the body. 47% of men notice the breast before they even look at the face and only 20% look at the face.
  • Men believe that women with large breasts are likely to be more interested in women with smaller breasts. Well, it’s a big myth.
  • The best sleeping position is on your side or placing a pillow behind your chest as these positions make your chest firm and in shape. Sleeping upright can distort your breasts.
  • Breasts are the most sensitive parts of a woman. Your breasts can get sunburned even if you’re wearing a bra and a swimsuit. So be careful and apply sunscreen lotion with an SPF of 15 whenever you go out.
  • If you avoid this too soon, you may notice premature wrinkles with brown spots on your lovely twins.
