Easy pear sauce recipe without sugar (step -by -step guide)

Looking for a simple, healthy alternative to Applesauce purchased by the store? This easy pear sauce recipe is naturally sweet, made with simple ripe pears – without adding sugar, preservatives or artificial ingredients. Whether you make it for babies, toddlers, or for yourself, this homemade pear sauce is a tasty and healthy snack. You can also use apples in this recipe to make Applesauce. I share the step-by-step guide to make pear sauce using fresh pears. It is ideal for meal preparation, canning or using baking recipes. Best of all, it takes a little effort and requires only one main ingredient: pears!

When fresh pears are in time, they make up a batch of this delicious pear sauce!

If you have ever enjoyed freshly cut pear Sauce, you know how tasty it can be. It’s a great way to use an abundance pear by a courtyard tree (I have one pear which trees now!), or take advantage of these wonderful fruits when they are in season. It is extremely easy to make 100% natural, no sugar pear Sauce, using these few easy steps I share on the blog. Bonus: You can follow the same recipe to make apple sauce – just exchange it pear for apples. As a child growing up in the northwest, I helped my mother to do homemade pear And apple sauce every year from our generosity fresh fresh from the tree. We could enjoy all winter. Step by step guide

Start with fresh, clean, ripe pears.
Peel the pears using a knife.
Cut the pears into pieces.
Place the chopped pears in a small container.
Juice a small lemon and add it to pears.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to pears.
Add 1/2 cup of water to pears.
Stir well, cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Using a sinking blender (or transfer pears to a blender), a mixture of cooked pear, until you reach the desired consistency.
Voila, now you have a beautiful pear sauce!

Enjoy pear sauce as a natural dessert, with cereals or granola, as an ingredient in recipes or as an accompaniment to salty dishes.

  • 4 Fresh middle pears, peeled, spots, chopped in pieces
  • 1 Little lemon, juicy
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup water


  1. Place chopped pears in a pot With lemon juice, cinnamon and water. Stir to distribute the ingredients, cover with a lid and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Using a blender (or carry pears to a mixer), mixture of cooked pear until you reach the desired consistency.
  3. Cool and serve immediately. Or transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 1 week or freezer for up to 6 months.

Notes

Use the same recipe for Applesauce, using apples instead of pears.

Sauce sauce suggestions:

Sprinkle with cinnamon or granola, mix in oatmeal or cereal, enjoy as a toast with peanut butter or add to desserts, such as pastries and bars.

This pear sauce is used as a sweetener to replace or reduce sugar to baked products such as pancakes, muffins and bars.
