The family is not a size-in size. And not even the journey to building one. For many of us, society paints a photo since we are young – they get married, we have children and follow the traditional path to parental responsibility. But what happens when life doesn’t follow this scenario? Or when the “typical” version of the family does not feel that it fits the life you want to create? In today’s episode of Chick Chat, we are diving in a discussion that causes traditional ideas of family and motherhood. Whether you are a young parent, you dream of parental care, or just curious about your own path, this episode will inspire you to embrace the possibility and self -discovery.

This is exactly the current visitor, Dr. Gertrude Lyons, authorizes people to do. It helps people everywhere to rethink what it means to create a family and embrace a mentality that calls “Mother-Disgust”. Through her work, she invites us to explore our deepest desires around the building of the family, to provoke social standards and to enter motherhood-or the essence of maternity-in a deliberate, amazing way.

Who is Dr. Gertrude Lyons?

Dr. Gertrude Lyons He is a coach, educator and leader of thinking in women’s development, holistic parental responsibility and personal transformation. Is the founder of Rewrite the mother codeWhere it helps people embrace creative, cultivating energy of “motherhood” to live a more authentic and amazing life.

With over 20 years of experience, a doctorate in education and a master’s degree in Psychology, Dr. Gertrude has guided countless people, couples and families to rewrite their stories both in parental responsibility and beyond.

Her course to motherhood was not even simple, and this is part of what makes her work so powerful. He knows firsthand what it is like to browse your expectations, to question your choices and to look for your own release. Her passion to help others come from this journey and now devotes her life to supporting others to the creation of families that reflect their hearts, values and dreams. I love that its mission is to help people make use of the essence of “maternity” as a creative, cultivation of energy that transcends biology, reinforcing them to lead more deliberate, happy lives.

What did we discuss?

In our conversation, Dr. Gertrude introduced the beautiful idea of being Dreary. This is not about questioning if you want to be a mother. This is the opening of the many ways you can experience the parent and the building of the family, and giving yourself permission to explore what is really light on you.

Here are a few moments from our discussion:

What does it really mean to be a mother

Dr. Gertrude shared how this mentality concerns the exploration of expectation. This is to ask yourself questions such as: What do I really want my family to look like? What would I feel more authentic to me?

Myths and pressures that keep people back

From social schedules to cultural expectations, so many people feel a box in a family version that is not fully their own. Dr. Gertrude helps people release the weight of the “should” and follow their own path.

The journey of personal maternity

She opened for the surprises and challenges of her own experience with family building, which shaped the compassionate, comprehensive approach she is now sharing with others.

The role of community and support

Whether they are partners, friends, family or electronic communities, having people who support your choices can make all the difference. Dr. Gertrude shared practical tips to build a strong support system, especially if your course to the family looks different from the rule.

Practical first steps to investigate the mother

It encourages starting and curiosity start: periodic, open conversations with affiliates or reliable friends and looking for communities where non -traditional paths are celebrated instead of judging.

We also touched the fear of the crisis, which is one of the biggest obstacles for people who are considering non -traditional family paths. Dr. Gertrude’s advice was both empowering and releasing: the more you have your truth, the less power crisis it holds you on you.

This episode is full of ideas for those who navigate questions about family, identity and self -discovery. Whether you dream of your first child, taking into account alternative routes to Parenthood, or just explore what family means to you, this conversation will let you feel inspired to honor your own journey.

Final thoughts

One of my favorite trips from this discussion is that there is no family definition, and that is a beautiful thing. Your course to the family does not need to look like anyone else. By embracing curiosity, leaving the expectations and building a network of support, you can create a family life that feels really authentic and satisfying for you.
