We are almost For the months “Ber” – and you know what this means … A little less sunshine, much more comfortable vibes, and the official Kickoff for the sweater. While we love crisp air, pumpkin and soft layers, this seasonal shift can also throw our skin into a little spiral. But don’t worry, Rebel – here is the complete September skin reset guide.

With a few thoughtful bites in your daily rituals, you can keep your play loudly and the barrier of your skin is happy throughout autumn.

Seasonal shifts: What happens between August and October?

This transition period may seem thin, but your skin and body do some great tasks behind the scenes.

Environmental Changes:

  • Moisture is significantly reduced-from 60-80% to 30-50%

  • Temperatures: hot days, cool nights

  • Exposure to ultraviolet radiation decreases (but is still thereso spf always!)

  • The inner heating kicks in = dry air

  • Shorter days affect our circadian rhythm (also known as our natural clock)

Internal Body Responses:

  • Less sunlight = less natural vitamin D

  • Melatonin increases = mood, sleep and renewal of the skin

  • Slower Cell Circle

  • Reduction of natural oil production (sebum)

  • Reduced circulation = fewer nutrients delivered to the skin

Visible skin effects:

  • Dryness and dehydration of water loss with inter-surface water

  • Compromised skin barrier = more sensitivity, redness and flame

  • Prolonged summer accumulation leads to a blur

  • Conditions such as eczema, rosacea and hormonal acne can flame

✨ How to support your skin from inside and Out

September is like Second year– A beautiful moment to repeat yourself and your skin with rituals that honor the displacement of seasons.

1. Hydration is everything

Internally: Drink more water, herbal teas and broth soups. Apples, stone fruits, pumpkins, spinach and sweet potatoes make wonderful seasonal recipes to reach extra vitamins and minerals + add beautiful color to your plate.

Topically: Charge on moisturizing, protective ingredients such as hyaluronic acid in our hydraulic gel calendula and niainamide in the moisturizing fog to keep the water on your skin, while water in your surroundings slowly exhausted by internal heaters.

Keep in mind that your hydronicity may need to be heavier if you live in a climate of dryer or lighter if you live in a more fluid + hot one 🙂 Calendula gel is better for more hydration and the moisturizing fog or aloe -lighter gutters are lighter.

2. Repair and protect the barrier of the skin

Now is the time to heal your skin extraordinaryness. Use soft, antioxidant rich formulas to help your skin recover from summer damage and prepare for colder, dry months. Patsouli moisturizing cream is calm, balancing, inflammation and our Calendula & Oat moisturizing moisturizer are extremely generous for sensitive, reactive skin (plus soft UV defense!)

3. Exfoliation gently with enzymes

Handy harsh rubs. Instead, reach out for soft fruit enzymes such as those in the pumpkin enzyme mask to remove accumulation and restore your radiation – without irritation.

4. Also don’t forget the interior

Break your skin by nourishing your gut and nervous system.

  • Add fermented foods or probiotics for bowel harmony

  • Complete Vitamin D (especially as days shorten)

  • Create a calm sleep rituals to support natural skin repair (hi, apple tea and hot baths Epsom salt)

Experts Tips for Success of Falling Skin

  • Moisture: Use a humidifier to keep moisture 40-50%
  • Seasonal: Incorporate foods rich in vitamin C (apples, squash, sweet potatoes)
  • Sleep optimization: Keep a consistent sleeping schedule for optimal skin repair
  • Stress management: Practical mentality – stress directly affects the function of skin barrier
