Researchers at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University report that they have successfully introduced tadpoles Xenopus laevis frogs into a state of hibernation-like sleep using donepezil (DNP), an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
