On the face, he has performed thermal reinforcements from the skin to Philadelphia for almost 20 years and we are excited about the addition of the younger generation, Thermage FLX. After this time, it is natural to think: “Your thermal remedies were always great, what’s better for Flx?”
Well, let’s tell you!

What is Thermage® FLX?

Therapies of thermal radiation (RF) provide a non -invasive way for clinically smooth, tighten and describe the skin for a comprehensive newer appearance. The heat treatment FLX offers remarkable results with little or no stopping time – to all skin types, for the face, body and eyes, all in just one process. Since there is no surgery, you can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure!

How long was the Thermage® technology available?

The first Thermage device was sold to the United States twenty years ago, in 2002! Since then, more than three million treatments have been held! On FACE’s aesthetics is an authorized provider and has cured patients in Philadelphia with Thermage® since 2007.

How do Flx Thermage treatments work?

A handmade with a smooth, flat edge delivers radio frequency energy (RF) to the desired treatment area. Your face, belly, eyes, etc., which offers heat to the deep, rich layers of your skin. Heat helps to stimulate the formation of a new collagen over time, which can tighten and improve the smoothness and texture of the surface of the skin.

How long is the treatment?

Temperature FLX treatment times vary depending on the body part, size, position and condition of the treatment area. Due to a slightly greater end than its predecessor, THERMAGE®’s FLX treatments are faster than before and remarkable results can be observed in a single treatment!

What parts of the body do the processes of the Thermage® FLX system face?

Thermage® FLX treatments in Philadelphia can cure the skin in most parts of the body, including the face, eyes, abdomen, hands, thighs and buttocks. The Thermage® FLX system can also temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite.

What kind of results can I wait for?

Immediately after treatment your skin may look smoother and youthful as the underlying collagen is regenerated.

Depending on what you encountered:

  • Your eyes can look wake up with a reduced hood.
  • The crumpled, crepe or loose skin may look smoother in the body.
  • You can see the temporary improvement in the appearance of your cellulite with reduced breakdown.
(The results vary depending on the age and condition of the skin.)

When do the results appear and how long do they last?

Visible results can be immediate and can be improved over time throughout the process of rebuilding your body’s natural collagen. For most patients, the results can be observed once treatment is completed, with continuous improvement in three to six months after a single treatment session. The longevity of Thermage’s FLX results depends on the condition of the skin, the exposure to the sun and the aging process.

How many treatments will I need?

Unlike many laser processes that require multiple sessions, Thermage FLX offers results in a single session for most patients.

How do I look like the procedure right away? Can I get back to work?

No special attention is required after treatment and most patients return to their regular activities immediately after treatment – there is no interruption with Thermage® FLX!

How does the treatment feel?

Each time the treatment device touches your skin, you will feel a brief cooling sense of cooling, followed by a deep but brief sense of heating, followed by another cooling sense of cooling. The sense of heating is a sign that the deep layers of your skin reach effective temperatures to normalize wrinkles, while the cooling sensation protects the surface of your skin. Throughout the process, your provider will request feedback on the level of heat sensation to help balance your comfort with the maximum results.

Who performs the process?

Regarding Aesthetics Face is an authorized thermal temperature provider, which means that our team has been extensively trained in Thermage® FLX in addition to all training and experience with previous Thermage devices. In our office, the process is performed by our medical aesthetic team (the youngest Esthi has been with us for 10 years!)

How is the technology of the Thermage® FLX system different from other processes that treat wrinkles?

The Thermage® FLX system can smooth out your skin, but realistically it will not provide the dramatic effects of a surgical facelift. If you want moderate smoothing of your skin and reconstruction of collagen without surgery, then the Thermage® FLX system may be suitable for you. We will be happy to discuss different approaches with you during your consultation.

How do the results of the Thermage® FLX system compare to those of other treatments?

Some people want the dramatic effects of surgery. Others want the thinnest, gradual effects of a non -invasive treatment with little or no interruption time and love the idea of being able to “pull” their own collagen. This is where Thermage® FLX achieves, providing improved skin appearance and overall texture.

Can I receive a Thermage® FLX system process if I already have any other procedures?

For best results, you should discuss your previous procedures and your current expectations with your provider during consultation, but probably the answer is yes. 🙂

Are there risks?

Thermage® FLX system procedures are offered by more than 2500 doctors in more than 80 countries and have a proven security profile. Of course, as with any procedure, there is always a risk that we will discuss with you during your consultation. Side effects are generally mild and may include redness, swelling and rare cases of surface abnormalities.

How much does the thermage® FLX treatment cost in Philadelphia?

The cost depends on the area you are facing. We encourage you to come for a consultation, where we can give you a more accurate cost idea.
