The skin problem on vacation is the worst.

You have been planning for months. Close flights, invite the hotel and carefully pack your suitcase, including travel sizes of your favorite skin care products.

You have won these summer vacations and you are ready to finally relax.

But then, just as you land on Paradise, you discover a brand new unblocking. In the most visible parts, of course. Or maybe you have tight, dry skin after your long flight. Or worse, a rash, irritation or red patches that make you want to put a bag over your head.

You have packaged these few travel size products, but designed for a normal skin care routine, not all these issues! You wanted to enjoy your vacation, don’t spend it wonder how quickly you can find a decent cleanser at a nearby pharmacy.

So why is this happening? And most importantly, what can you do about it with what you have with you?

Problem from skin on holiday: Why does it act

Even the happiest journey can cause a lot of stress, not only for you but also for your skin. You change your environment, which is quite stressful, but then you can also change your diet, sleep patterns and daily routine. These changes can throw your skin out of balance in various ways.

Here are some of the most common guilty:

Traveling

Dry, recycled air can suck the moisture from your skin, aggravating fine lines, flakes and irritation. Low humidity in the plane’s cabins can quickly dehyd your skin, even during short flights.

Exposure to the sun

Even if you wear sunscreen, every extra time in the sun can leave your skin warm, dry or even burnt. UV rays activate inflammation and break down the skin barrier, which can lead to peeling, redness, swelling and long -term skin damage.

Change in climate

If you go somewhere with a different climate from your homeland – even if it is only slightly different – it can cause your skin to emphasize. Transition from a liquid to dry environment or vice versa can disrupt moisture balance and oil production.

Disturbed nutrition and sleep

Holidays often mean less sleep or at least disturbed sleep, which immediately stresses your skin and makes signs of aging more remarkably. You can also enjoy more sugar and/or more alcohol, which can appear on your face. These internal displacements affect your hormones and levels of inflammation, which directly affect the clarity, elasticity and shine of your skin.

Different water care products and/or skin

Hotel soaps, unknown moisturizers or hard water can irritate sensitive skin. Even a slight change in pH or the addition of fragrance can lead to breakouts, redness or allergic reactions.

Anxiety

Although you are supposed to relax, the journey can come with its own pressure. It takes at the airport in time, keeping children happy or asserting that the trip goes smoothly that can weigh to your mind. This low -level intensity can increase stress hormones in the body, which in turn can cause existing, sensitivity or inflammation of existing conditions, such as eczema or rosacea.

Skin problems on vacation – how to solve them on the go

Fortunately, most of these skin problems that occur on holidays are manageable, even if you have only packaged a few tiny bottles. With the right approach and a little know -how, you can calm down, moisturize and protect your skin so that it feels good again.

Dry, tight or thin skin

This is one of the most common issues that occur during the holidays, especially after the flight or time they spend on air -conditioned spaces. Your skin may feel tight and itchy or may look dull.

Fast repair:

Take a bottle of travel spray rescue spray + relief with you and spritz throughout the day to keep your skin from dry. It is full of anti -inflammatory that help reduce redness and keep the skin look at the healthy radiant better.

Then use a soothing moisturizing cream that helps to hydrate and repair the skin barrier. A relaxing moisture of travel size works perfectly. It is light but deeply nutritious. Use it in the morning and night or whenever your skin feels tight, annoyed or as if suffering from inflammation.

Breakouts and clogged resources

Whether it is heat, sunborn, or changes in your diet, holiday breakouts can be annoying, especially if you have left your usual acne products at home.

Fast repair:

Make sure you clean the night well. Use a mild cleanser without sulfate (avoid bar soap!) And take your time. Even better, do a double cleaning if you have worn sunscreen all day. Start by removing your makeup and then follow with your usual cleanser. A travel size brush can help you make sure you have all the dirt.

If you need emergency treatment, try preparing a green tea bag in a small amount of hot water. Let it cool to room temperature, then open it in the refrigerator if you have one. Then press it directly into unblocking for 5-10 minutes. Follow with a cold compression or ice cube wrapped in a clean towel for 1-2 minutes to reduce swelling. Finally, Spritz a small rescue spray + relief in the area to accelerate the healing process. It is non-graedogenic and ideal for all skin types.

Bonus Tip:

If your unblocking appears to be related to heat, skip the viscous creams for one day and let your skin breathe. Use a moisturizing light and maintain consistency.

Sunburn or skin that feels “warm”

You did your best with sunscreen, but the sun was stronger than you are used to, and now your skin is red, warm or just uncomfortable.

Fast repair:

Cool the area with something that reduces inflammation. Again, the Rescue + Relief spray is brilliant here. It wins better after the sun-other year by year. It feels like heaven on overheated skin! Keep it in the refrigerator if you have one and the homogeneity over your face or other areas performed by the sun according to the needs.

Pruritus rash or skin reaction

Sometimes your skin can react to pool chemicals, bug spray or even new hotel pillows. Red, itchy hits and rashes can suddenly appear.

Fast repair:

First, stop using anything new you may have introduced. Then relax the irritation. A mild, fragrance, no oil, such as the balm for skin repair can help calm the skin and protect it from further damage. Apply a small amount and do not rub too hard.

What to do for the pillow: If you suspect that the hotel’s bed or pillow is the culprit, try using one of your clean t-shirts or a soft scarf as a pillowcase instead-something made of cotton that you know your skin tolerates.

Broken lips and dry hands

When you go on vacation, you can wash your hands more to avoid germs or use the hand disinfectant, both of which dry your hands. You may also forget to drink enough water. This can lead to dry, cracked hands and lips.

Fast repair:

Use a balm for the lips containing nutrients. The restorative balm of the skin works beautifully to repair damage at night. For the hands, repeat the body repair lotion again after each wash.

Problem from skin on holiday: How to prevent it

It is always better to prevent problems before happening if you can. Try these tips.

  • Stick to a simple routine. Now it’s not the time to experiment with a new product. Continue to use your normal cleanser, moisturizer, SPF and an extra soothing product, such as Rescue + Relief.
  • Keep your products consistent. If you fly, consider bringing the bottles of travel size from your favorite products or preparing small containers with them, so your skin does not need to deal with anything new.
  • Stay hydrated. Your skin reflects what’s going on in your body. Drink plenty of water, especially on travel days.
  • Treat your skin at night. Even if you are tired, take time to wash your face and moisturize well before bed. It will help you restore your skin while sleeping.

Feel good on your skin while on vacation!

With these strategies and solutions, you can keep your skin happy and healthy throughout your holiday. We have travel sizes from all our products so you can pack light and smart!
