We were home from a full night children – a kid had football, another had music lessons – and I needed dinner at the table, like five minutes ago. I looked in the fridge and saw the beef, some wrappers and a mixture bag. I took out some staples for the sauce and voila! These sweet rays tacos were born. And let me tell you, it was an instant blow.

Since then they have been regularly rotated in 15 minutes and I think they will win a point in yours as well.

Korean beef

How to make Korean Beef Tacos (step by step)

Step 1: In a large saucepan, heat the oil to medium high temperature. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until the aromatic.

Step 2: Add the beef and cook, breaking it separately, until golden brown and cooked – about 4-6 minutes. Drain any excessive fat.

  • 10 small wrappers
  • 2 1/2 cups Asian Slaw (or a composite cabbage with thin slices, red pepper and carrot)
  • 1-2 Green onions, only green parts, sliced
  • 2-3 Tsp sesame
