Dirty drawers can feel like a game-a-mole game. Here are some tips on how to organize bathroom drawers and accessories to facilitate!

When we renovated our home in 2023 and found ideas for our main bath, I asked for “wider vanity with the strongest drawers”. I absolutely love drawers and I knew we would have a lot to save to ours. We do not have a closet in this area (only one shelf corner), so all toiletries, medicines, hair supplies, teeth brushes and others are housed in these drawers.

How to organize bath drawers
1. Start with a deep declutter + Clean
When you start organizing your bathroom drawer, the first step is to remove everything from the drawers. Once they are gaps, give them a good gap and wipe down and discard the expired products and medicines, items you no longer use and anything that has been broken.
2. Sorting objects using
Group similar objects together before making a drawing to return them to drawers.
Group category ideas:
- Teeth
- Hair washing
- Hair style
- Shower and bathtub
- Makeup
- Daily skin care
- Casual care and masks
- Drugs
- Self -care tools
- Female products
- Travel
3. Plans drawings for each category
Save with frequency of use so that the items you use daily are more affordable. Keep the basics daily (toothpaste, deodorant, skin care) at the top most drawers for easy access. Save less often used objects (extra razors, tracks) in lower drawers.
4. Invest in drawer organizers
Now the fun place! Invest in drawers or small containers to keep the objects separately. Adjustable or stack organizers help maximize the space. My very favorite organizer is This set of acrylic bins. I have them in all my drawers! They are non -slip and keep the products sorted. I love that the clear does not hide what is inside.

You don’t have to buy all the news! I like to reposition small boxes or mugs for objects such as cotton swabs or hair ties. These are really cream and sugar containers!

And this vintage wooden box is the perfect size for dry shampoo 🙂

5. Use vertical space
Stacked buckets such as It can help optimize deep drawers. I also like divided acrylic organizers like this for deeper drawers. I store extra makeup in my bottom drawer in this style.

You may also like drawers under the sink. I had this metal drawer set for decades and use it to store extra makeup / travel bags. Here is a similar. I also have this stick in the bucket For the interior of my lower cabinet, where I put makeup that should go to the washing machine.

6. Label for clarity
Use tags in bins or apartments to maintain the organization. This will help family members return things to the right place. A place where we need labels and we don’t have them is our medicines! I have them in cable baskets and I could use a better labeling system.
