Here are some spring clothing additions to my wardrobe from shirts to dresses and swimwear for summer!

Do you go to the warm section of your wardrobe with fresh eyes every year? After wearing my favorite black hoodie for months now, it’s been fun to start wearing my summer wardrobe again. And of course, I’ve added some new tracks too! Here are some of those new pieces, including a handful of new swimwear!

Spring clothing additions

Banana Republic Twist Top

I went to Banana Republic where my friend works to see if they had a “casual but cute” t-shirt and walked out with this unique twist top! It’s totally comfortable cotton with a detail on the arm that I’ve never seen before. Perfect for when you sit half in the shade and half in the sun!! Haha.

Stitch correction

I hadn’t done a Stitch correction in a bit! I had such a great experience with both Stitch correction and A little history in the past. It’s always my favorite when the seasons change. Here are the three things I kept:

Sue Tulip Sleeve Top by Monday Fun

I love this top!! It’s fluid but also looks great wrapped. Dress it up or down!

Melinaira Ruched Sleeve Knit Top by Violets & Roses

This shirt is so ‘me’. It’s also this super smooth material that’s thin and breathable. I love the longer sleeves for spring. I wear it all the time!

Mason and Belle Madelyn Flutter Sleeve Dress

It hasn’t warmed up enough to wear this dress yet, but it’s so comfortable – can’t wait! I love that the sleeves are loose but there is a fabric panel to keep my armpits from showing!

Goal Swimming

One Piece Black Crew Neck

Let’s go swimming!! I picked up two new suits from Target before our trip to Aruba and they are both winners!! This black suit is perfect – double breasted, cool neckline, great coverage. So easy to pair with shorts for the walk to and from the beach (or a pirate ship!) Mine is a size medium.

Bali Designs Carve Shorts

And speaking of shorts, if you don’t have the Carve Bali Shorts you are missing out!! These are the BEST shorts for summer as a beach cover up as they are quick drying fabric, high waisted and have two side pockets and one back pocket. I have them in 3 colors – navy, black and floral! Mine is a medium.

Tropical Plunge One Piece

This is the second Target outfit I’ve gotten. It’s not exactly mom-friendly for ocean sports, but it’s a great mix of sexy and full coverage. I love the bolder tropical print to contrast with my solid suits! Mine is size medium.

Carve designs

Carve Designs sent me some pieces from their spring/summer line, including new suits and linens!

Remy Robert

Obsessed with this romper! It’s so comfortable with pockets and a tie waist. I think a tie waist is something you should have in a robe because otherwise you look a bit like a square. I adore it! Size small.

Nellie Linen Dress

This linen dress is also so light and airy (as linen is!) with great pockets. It would be great for a spring picnic or as a beach cover up! I’m wearing a small and it’s a little big for the size.

Top Tofino in Wildflower

LOVE LOVE this long line swimsuit! Pair with any solid color bottoms you can match (or you can buy the matching ones). It’s basically like wearing a sports bra at the beach – totally comfortable and supportive. It comes in a bunch of different colors and mine is a size D/DD small.

Dahlia One Piece at Taj

This suit is unlike anything I’ve owned before, but I can’t wait to wear it to an evening pool party! Maybe with a dark sarong. It’s tight enough to be supportive despite being skimpier at the top 🙂 Mine runs small in D/DD.

Beacon One Piece in Wildflower

Here’s the wildflower pattern again but this time in full body coverage! This is another great suit for those who want to feel the zip and not have to think about your suit moving around. See the cross back in the photo below. All of their swimwear comes in a D/DD size option, and I’m wearing a small in that size.

Outgoing tank

I got this tank from Athleta on sale and I am obsessed with it. Perfect to wear under a light jacket or blazer or on its own when the sun is out!

Bokyna sandals

These sandals he was following me online. I finally decided to try them and I LOVE THEM. Very comfortable, as promised. And I look forward to them being the only pair I pack on vacation when I need casual sandals to wear to the pool and dressy sandals to wear with a dress for dinner!

Old Navy Shorts

i found it perfect denim shorts at Old Navy! High rise, soft, thigh length (on me!), great value! I got it too this vintage t-shirt in the washed out purple and it’s gorgeous! It also comes in a V-neckline. You can’t beat Old Navy prices!

Bare wedges

I got it too these bare wedges because I needed some nude, super comfortable walking shoes with a small heel to wear with dresses too. They are SO COMFORTABLE! I think I’m ready for shoes for now!

He probably won’t wear these with shorts, but here’s the lowdown!

Jean shorts

Let’s go girl!

I found this top at Goodwill of all places! I’ve been saving it for an occasion where girl power is the theme. TBD!

Allbirds

And finally, shout at me Tree loungers! These shoes aren’t new, but they are back out for spring and I had to give them a shout out for being the MOST COMFORTABLE slip-ons ever! I am prone to blisters and these are as comfortable as a pair of slippers. In fact, they would make great house shoes. I want a second pair in a lighter color. They are so light and machine washable.

That’s all for now!
