For today, I wanted to talk about a form of training that has stood the test of time. It’s something I’ve loved for years and always come back to as a staple in my routine:

I love barre workouts because they remind me a little of my old dancing days, they are incredibly challenging but also easier on the joints. There is minimal impact and I feel like no matter what, I’m always getting a good workout. There are so many great online barre options, so I wanted to share five of my top five if you’re looking to take some barre classes at home instead of at the studio. This is a great option for my menopausal or menopausal friends who are used to HIIT workouts but want something that is low impact and still a great workout.

5 Online Barre Classes You Must Try

Pure Barre

Pure Barre Classes are designed to target specific muscle groups using small, isometric movements. By isolating and working these muscles to the point of fatigue, you can achieve a long, lean physique while improving your flexibility, posture, and overall body alignment. One of the things I love most about Pure Barre is its comprehensiveness. Okay, to be fair, this isn’t traditional barre, but the strength and sculpting workouts are pretty simple. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like barre classes!

Coach Kel’s workouts

i found Kel’s YouTube trainer years ago and loves her workouts. She’s a bit more ballerina, which I like, and I also like her low-key coaching approach. She has tons of workouts on her channel and the best part is that it’s free. She really is a great gymnast. I wish I could add more information here, but I had a hard time learning more about Coach Kel and her background, even though she is active on social media. The good news is that you can check out her workouts for free and see how you like them!

Ballet Beautiful

Flashback to when I had to take a class in person! I was blown away by the uniqueness and effectiveness of this format. All you need is a yoga mat to get started.
