The finals of the most powerful man (WSM) of 2025 went down to the stones of Atlas. The podium was identified in the event – Rayno Nel, Mitchell Hooper, and defending WSM Tom Stoltman champion will stand next to the other during the awards ceremony. The question was who would stand there.

The Atlas Stone event included five stones weighing 140 to 210 kg. The athlete who loaded all five stones in the fastest time won.

2025 The strongest man Flintstone Press Max Recap

Usually, athletes compete with the reverse end order from the previous event. However, since this was the event entitled, the athletes ran according to the ranking on the overall leaderboard.

Luke Stoltman vs. Eddie Williams

Stoltman, in the sixth final of the WSM, was in the heat against the FINALS WSM debut Williams. Williams was the first in the original stone, but Stoltman was the first to load it. The third stone was clearly where the weight jump was felt, and both were too late to load it.

Williams struggled to lift the fourth stone. Stoltman lifted the fourth stone on the podium, but threw it before it was installed. He put it in another attempt as the whistle broke.

Pablo Kordiyaka vs. Shane Flowers

Kordiyaka chose to lift without a shirt and only sticky in his hands, a strategy intended to use the skin for extra stones. It was a bold strategy given the way the stones were baked in the hot Sacramento sun that ran over the head.

They loaded the first stones at the same time. Kordiyaka took a small lead from the third stone. Kordiyaka caught the roar of the crowd when he loaded the fourth stone. The Ukrainian put on the fifth stone, but could not lift it longer than it. The flowers did not try on the fifth stone.

After their heat, the flowers were sentenced to five seconds to roll the fourth stone from his ring to his pedestal.

Paddy Haynes vs. ondrej fojtů

It was just through the first stone, but Haynes took in front of the second. Haynes was a complete stone in front after loading the fourth stone. Fojtů leaned into three stones. He returned successfully on the fifth stone, lifting it to the podium, but could not take it over the lip to lock it and be covered on the floor.

Mitchell Hooper vs. Trey Mitchell

Hooper had an acoustic exhalation before fighting on the first stone. He was stuck in the ring and threw the first stone, wasting valuable time.

Mitchell was stable throughout the heat, making the first athlete to load all five stones. Hooper made two attempts at the fifth stone, but he couldn’t stop it.

Rayno Nel vs. Tom Stoltman

With the advantage of the leader, NEL knew that loading all five stones would secure the WSM title regardless of time. Otherwise, it only had to beat Hooper’s four -sided time.

Stoltman was the only athlete except Kordiyaka to lift the shirtless. Stoltman in one meter the first three stones with a significant lead over NEL. Nel loaded his fourth stone, but it was not clear if the time hit Hooper. Nel tried to load the fifth stone, but he wasn’t there before the whistle blasted.

After a dramatic prediction, NEL’s time was second faster than Hooper’s, securing NEL as a 2025 WSM champion.
