Busy weeknights have met their match. This Lazy Ravioli Lasagna comes together in less than 30 minutes with just a handful of ingredients. It’s simple, filling and delicious.

Does this sound familiar?: It’s the week, everyone’s hungry, and the last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen. Chances are this night could go that way super expensive package deal. But you don’t have to!

Enter Ravioli Lasagna, the ultimate fast food time-saving dinner. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just want to make something simple, this dish has you covered.

Easy dinners

This dish is the perfect combination of satisfaction and simplicity—without all the fuss. I like to call it a “lazy meal”, but trust me, that’s not a bad thing. Time is precious and simplifying meal times is the final goal.

Home cooked meals have to be easy or they might not happen. I took this recipe from mine Table meal program Fraîchehosting thousands (literally) of healthy weekday breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

As a busy mom, I already wear a million hats. But this year, I’m flipping the script.

Instead of adding more to my plate, I use tools and systems to help escape.

Fraiche Table meal plan created by nutritionist Tori Wesszer

Fraîche table makes meal planning effortless with customizable menus, automated grocery lists and step-by-step instructions that simplify cooking like never before.

If you’re looking for more date night recipes you’ll love, here are some of my favorites (all from Fraîche Table):

Because you’ll love this lasagna ravioli

1. Minimal preparation: Forget boiling noodles and painstakingly assembling lasagna. Layer and bake is the name of the game here.

2. Minimal steps: Less mess, less dishes and more time to relax after dinner.

3. Endless customization: Whether you’re a fan of classic cheese ravioli, love a good spinach and ricotta filling, or want to try it with meat-filled ravioli, there’s a version for everyone. Could you even trade the marinara for Alfredo with a creamy twist?!

What to serve with pasta

Serve the ravioli lasagna with a simple green salad and some garlic bread for a complete meal. I mean, a good glass of red wine is also a welcome companion here!

Here are some approved pasta sides:

This recipe is extremely versatile – feel free to adjust it to your liking. Add extra veggies to the sauce, skip the sausage or swap to a plant-based version, and experiment with different ravioli flavors. Be sure to use the best quality jarred marinara you can!

Ingredients

  • 2
    mild Italian sausages
The casing was removed and shattered
  • 1
    650 mL
    jar of marinara sauce
  • 4
    cups
    spinach
    coarsely chopped
  • Salt & pepper
    for taste
  • 500
    grams
    cheese ravioli
  • 2/3
    cup
    ricotta cheese
  • 1
    cup
    grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4
    cup
    grated parmesan
  • 2
    tablespoons
    royal
    coarsely chopped, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add the sausage and brown, about 6 minutes. Add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Throw in the spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Assemble the lasagna by adding 1/3 of the sauce to the bottom of a 9×13″ pan. Add half the ravioli, then gently spread the ricotta in an even layer on top. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the mozzarella.

  4. Pour another 1/3 of the sauce on top and then the rest of the ravioli. Pour over the remaining sauce and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until the cheese is melted. Bake until golden brown if desired. Sprinkle with basil before serving.
