Born and raised in France, Lara’s path spans true athletic rigor—competitive skiing and swimming, glacier off-piste running, tennis, horseback riding, combat sports, dance, and yoga—along with serious scholarship, a master’s degree in economics, and an engineering degree in computer science. Uniquely multi-faceted, she is also a trained actress, bringing dramatic depth, psychological clarity and powerful screen presence to her visual work. She also channeled her love of style into launching her own fashion line before COVID, and she moves easily between high fashion, sportswear and clothing – always with intention, always herself.
Lara writes, acts, and plays from a place of resonance, not an ornament. She trusts her sixth sense, presence and emotional clarity – qualities that make women resilient, adaptable and strong. When she speaks, acts or sings, she lets the energy move through her like a channel: effortless, unvarnished and precise to the moment. The result is swept-and-polished modern pop grandeur, delivered with gut-wrenching honesty.
Her upcoming single, “To lust for you”, captures this dual power—clarity with fire—opening up a series of songs that combine thrust “No Limits” with his raw honesty “Sorry.” In a world driven by expertise, Lara carves out a space where music, acting and physical mastery meet, creating a sonic and visual identity that feels both present and timeless.
If you’re looking for authenticity, Lara Kerner doesn’t perform it – she channels it.
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar meets Lara Kerner – an extremely talented and successful multifaceted, trained actress and singer-songwriter. Here she talks about her fitness and success journey.
Namita Nayar:
You’ve said that you don’t “perform” authenticity — you channel it. For someone who has lived all over France, the US, Africa and now the UK, how have these geographical and cultural changes taught you to trust your sixth sense over external validation?
Lara Kerner:
“I have trusted a wild, innate sixth sense since childhood. I was never wired to blindly follow the crowd. Growing up in France instilled in me our distinctive cultural critical thinking—we learn from a very young age to analyze ideas, questioning their truth and deeper purpose before accepting them.
My time in the United States broadened my horizons. I resonated deeply with an American culture that allows you to dream without limits and actively champions individuals with a bold, uncompromising vision. Moving to Africa presented a beautiful, contrasting reality.
In many communities there, social cohesion relies heavily on maintaining reputation, sometimes forcing individuals to shape their lives around external expectations without questioning the core purpose. However, what completely captivated me about Africa was its wonderfully non-rational, mystical essence — a world where reality is fluid, almost waiting to be bent by intention.
Living on these continents proved to me that every culture has its own striking truth, each with its own unique brilliance and inherent flaws. Ultimately, we must anchor ourselves in our own intuition and authentic needs. What is right for me may be wrong for someone else. If you build a life that defies your own inner compass, you will never be truly at peace.”

Namita Nayar:
You describe your creative process as “tuning rather than embellishment.” What does a typical writing or recording session look like when you let the energy flow through you without pressure?
Lara Kerner:
“For me, songwriting is rarely a calculated or planned event; it happens through a commanding impulse—an urgent need to capture a fleeting moment or a wave of raw emotion. I feel that, for a brief moment, I’m given the keys to capture the clear light. Because that energy can be struck by any catalyst moment that deeply affected me, or a global event that touched my soul
Consequently, my “writing sessions” are completely unpredictable. You might see me on the London Underground, completely locked into a state of intense, hyper-focus, furiously typing lyrics into notes on my phone. When this channel opens, the delivery is incredibly accurate to the moment. I can easily write an entire song from start to finish in five to ten minutes.”
Namita Nayar:
With a background in acting, finance, computer science engineering and fashion, how do you silence the analytical mind to access that raw, emotional clarity when you step on stage or in front of a camera?
Lara Kerner:
“I have always been deeply intuitive and deeply in touch with my emotions. Even in elementary school, I was a quiet, reserved child who struggled to navigate the everyday social landscape, yet the moment I stepped on stage to recite a poem, sing a song, or portray a character, I felt an absolute, unshakable sense of belonging.
My scientific and analytical background does not stifle my creativity. Instead, it serves as a grounding mechanism. It provides an unexpected emotional clarity. What I appreciate about mathematics and economics is the absolute lack of deception – when something is structurally true, it is true. when it’s wrong, it’s wrong. There is a clean, comforting simplicity to this logic. However, when it comes to the pivotal turning points in my life and art, I will always let my heart and intuition make the final decision. Rationality sets the scene, but intuition takes the leap.”
Namita Nayar:
Your new single ‘Crave For You’ is described as ‘clarity with fire’. What was the specific emotional flashpoint for this piece – a moment, a relationship, or an inner realization?
Lara Kerner:
“The piece was sparked by a deep, personal connection. Every once in a while, you meet a person and experience an instant, magnetic connection that defies logical explanation. It feels completely predetermined, like the script was already written in the sky.
This level of chemistry can make you feel like you’re completely losing control. While this surrender is an exquisite, wonderful feeling, it can be terrifying at the same time. ‘Crave For You’ captures that precise, unstable threshold—the tension between resisting the pull or fully leaning into the fire.”
Namita Nayar:
The song opens a series of tracks that lie between the drive of “No Limits” and the honesty of “Sorry.” How do you personally distinguish between a song that calls for raw confession and a song that calls for pure promotion?
Lara Kerner:
“It depends entirely on my inner landscape at the time of creation. There are times in life meant for heavy introspection, where you feel momentarily detached or lost, deeply reflecting on your mistakes and triumphs. These quiet, vulnerable moments naturally call for a raw confession—a sonic space like ‘Sorry’ to remove the mask.”
Conversely, there are moments when you feel completely galvanized. You are surrounded by a tribe of people you love, supported by positive, electric energy and operate with the absolute belief that anything is possible. This state of empowerment requires pure, driving propulsion—an uplifting anthem like ‘No Limits’ that will inspire the room.”
