I’m sharing a collection of recent outfits that I love! I was a Rent the Runway Unlimited member for years. I like to think it helps me shop less. The verdict is still out on whether this is true or not. If you want to try it, you can get 50% off here. I love it for travel and events!
Hello hello! what are you doing I hope you had a lovely week. Today is full of appointments with my favorite clients and I’m also putting the finishing touches on tomorrow’s workshop. It’s not too late to grab a spot here.
For today’s post, I wanted to share a roundup of recent outfits. Spring and summer fashion is a million times better (and easier!) than winter fashion for me. I just always feel so blah in sweaters and jeans, but I break out the dresses, shorts, and sandals, and I’m a happy girl.
We’ve also had a bunch of traveling lately. We went to Las Vegas, El Paso for the BTS concert, I went to New York for work… and soon we will be heading to Seoul and Tokyo. (If you have recs, especially gf dining recs, send them in!)
Here are some of the things I’ve been loving lately!
Clothes from the last time
Ruti jeans and Veronica Beard cropped sweater

I have worn this outfit many times already. This jean is my absolute favorite. They live up to the hype and yes, it’s a figure, but it’s worth it. They have a bit of stretch, perfect TTS fit. I wear a 4 petite.
Another photo of these jeans:

Veronica Beard shirt from Rent the Runway

wore this with heels to a meeting and then again with my old faithful Golden Goose sneakers and a Chanel bag from Vivrelle (your first month is FREE here with the code GINAHARNEY. YOU WILL LOVE IT)

Love this dress as an option to throw on with a waist sweater, sneakers and sandals
Ralph Lauren Bear Sweater and skirt

NYC outfit first day! I LOVE THIS bear sweater and I can see why they are so trendy right now. You can find it here but it was from RTR. I would have kept it, but it’s already a billion degrees here in Tucson. I wore it with a skirt from Nordstrom Rack and sneakers.

Shirts it’s my passion for so many things, especially traveling for work. It looks put together without being over the top (although I do love a blazer moment) and you can still wear it while exploring around.
Maksu dress with sandals

I bought this dress in Spain last summer and have been waiting for the perfect day to wear it. I got so many compliments – some girls were asking if you could find it at Anthro – and I can’t wait to check it out more of their choices. The quality – stitching, details, fabric – is INSANE.
Wrap dress and heels

She wore it for Liv’s graduation. This is a Rent the Runway find, too, and I love it. I honestly might keep this because it came new with tags and I like the fit.
Sandro polo and jean shorts

I got these jean shorts at Aritzia and they are my new favourites. The app is perfect TTS, not too far or too close and was reasonably priced. Wear them with me this pole and these Amazon sandals.
How to navigate Rent the Runway
I was talking to a friend about RTR and mentioned that I feel overwhelmed because they have SO many different brands and options.
Here’s how I do it!
– Whenever I browse, I save items I like to my favorites folder. For example, I might be looking for casual wear but come across a dress that would be perfect for a work event, auction or wedding. I save it right away and then it’s waiting for me when the occasion comes.
– Check my favorites folder first. Since it’s already filled with things I love, I’ll use it for swaps. I have the 10 items per month plan so I get five items and can trade whenever I want for five different items.
– Check new arrivals. I will browse this section and add items to my favorites folder. When you rent from this section, there’s a good chance it will come new with tags, too!
– When I search for a rental, I search by brand. I have a handful of tried and true favorite brands and know that I love the style and that they will fit. Here are the ones I’m always looking for: Farm Fio (you know she’s my number 1!), Veronica Beard, Hutch, Ulla Johnson, Rails, Maje (I feel like this one is smaller), and Derek Lam. If something is out of stock, I’ll add it to my favorites folder and click the alert option to get a notification when it’s back in stock.
If you want to try it, you can use this link to 50% off your first month. It’s perfect for summer trips and events!
