Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo features rich, creamy and cheesy fettuccine noodles with sautéed chicken and onions for the most delicious meal! Made with CF Burger Creamery Half and Half to make it extra creamy.

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is one of my favorite dishes to order at restaurants and I decided I need to start making it at home more because this version is so delicious! It’s pretty easy to make, comes together in about 30 minutes, and is totally family friendly. My kids always ask for more every time I make a homemade alfredo recipe.

For extra flavor, I caramelized some onions which give the creamy sauce that wonderful onion flavor. This chicken alfredo would make an amazing holiday meal! You could always leave out the chicken to make it more of a side dish as well.

Chicken alfredo

Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine Ingredients

  • Fettuccine noodles
  • Butter
  • Onions – alfredo doesn’t always have onions, but I knew it would add a great level of flavor
  • Minced Garlic- I buy mine pre-minced, but you can also mince your own fresh garlic cloves
  • White whole wheat flour – more fiber than all-purpose flour
  • 2% milk
  • CF Burger Creamery Half and Half
  • Low sodium chicken stock – lower sodium than regular stock
  • Quality parmesan cheese – you can shred your own or buy it pre-grated
  • Black pepper
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Black pepper

How to Make Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is so easy to make. Start by cooking your pasta according to the directions. Season with salt and pepper and sauté your chicken. Alfredo sauce is quickly combined with sautéed onions and garlic for extra flavor and CF Burger Creamery Half and Half for lots of creaminess. I recommend pairing this pasta dish with your favorite roasted vegetables like green beans or a side salad.

Why use CF Burger Creamery Half and Half

The half and half helps give this pasta a rich and creamy flavor and texture. It’s less heavy than using heavy cream, but it will give you that amazing alfredo sauce that everyone loves. I reach for it CF Burger Creamery Half and half because it’s made in Michigan and I love supporting local brands. Once I use Half and Half for whatever recipe I’m making, I like to use it in my coffee for an extra creamy treat.
