Looking to get involved more about your partner in pregnancy, the birth of work – and perhaps most importantly, in parental care? It is as important to do as much as possible (lucky – for him, his basin will probably not pain like yours is … but other things that can be involved). Today I will give you 3 tips to get them into birth!

pregnant pair // ready for baby together

Before proceeding – why do you get the word on earth from someone to “pulling curl ???” Great question! Many of you may know me as Pregnancy® nurse. I have been a nurse since 1997 and I have been with 20 years with L & D. Now I am the birth teacher of the internet. I’m so glad you are here with me!

Honestly, so many women ignore this place (in really bad consequences, after all), so I’m really happy to be discussing it!

Call

This may feel like you have to do everything (including invitations) but They may also not want to go beyond. For example, they probably don’t want to come to their natural, so they’re not sure if you want them there with you at an appointment. And, some women do not want their appointments partners – everyone is different and communication is decisive (as always).

And honestly, May not be the best use of your family’s time, But invite them. See if they can come!

(and don’t pull your feelings if they can’t – to work are hard to shift)

Tell them you would love them there for:

  • Appointment with your provider
  • Any classes you do through your provider
  • Ultrasound or other tests

Sure, you can make the 3 -hour glucose on your own but when you are there to support you, it actually allows them see What do you do to keep this baby healthy and can help them have a shift in their role in all of them.

Now is a great time to share this post with them – I have a series of partners who may be interested in:

Do you want a teammate, not a cheerleader?

Get my best tips for partners who are properly sent to their inbox. Things to help them cope with the changes, support and get excited!

And if you think there is zero probability of wanting emails from me – grab this series of birth plans and invites them to sit and help you with your birth plan. They also receive a say in this (especially in baby’s options):

And while we’re here – Invite them to do with you. I honestly didn’t think about it until I was talking to some people about them. Reminds them that this pregnancy is real And there are things both You can do from you to stay safe. And, if you think “counts the kick” ???? I have a deception sheet (because I am shocked by how many providers share wrong):

Kick measurements are also awesome to do with the baby’s brothers – fun for the whole family to feel for the baby to kick!

Share

Since you are here (I love this by the way) You will probably watch videos, read articles and maybe follow some good sources in social media (be sure to watch these sources) – You are starting to prepare for this birth.

Do you and your partner 💑 Do you want to be more prepared for your upcoming tradition? These are for you!

So use these sharing buttons when you have an AHA moment you think will benefit them.

I would also like to recommend including a message about why you thought it was important (You may differentiate it from any cat video you usually send).

I would also bring it as you are at home together – “Hi, my sweetie – Did you get this video from the pregnancy nurse I sent you? I thought it was so cool to find out which contractions do really do – not amazing?” This will emphasize them the fact that This is important to you. I always have to remind myself that they are not the readers of the mind ….

Btw if you are looking for more articles to prepare you for work – check these:

Prepare

When reading articles, watching videos or wheels (BTW, be sure to follow pregnancy nurse on your favorite platform – You tube; Tikitok; Instagram; Facebook) It’s amazing – I just want to share some facts about the use of social media for preparation:

  1. There are many bad sources out there, and sometimes it can be hard to say who is good and who is not (especially in short-mold video-people are very Good to act as experts).
  2. You are going Wasting a lot of time – So many repetitions (hello in all my kicks counts the videos – me you – but I’m sure it’s getting older if you’re watching me again and again). I feel this as I look for gardening content on the internet.
  3. Your partner It’s not with you – you’ll get a lot of good information, but you want to be prepared as well (without having to sit down and teach them everything you know).

That’s why I created it.

  • Are taught by evidence and experts based on experience that you can trust
  • Cut the lint (and without repetitions) to prepare you in registration time
  • Join where you are both I’ll enjoy it. Is the class for both of you!

I am proud to say that the class has prepared thousands of couples since 2016 and I am constantly informing it to make sure it is up to date on what you will face in the hospital!
