Summer can be difficult on the skin. Whether it is too much sun, chlorine or seawater, the skin needs a little extra care to keep it in the healthiest during hot summer months. I have created an extremely nutritious and leather beauty balm that you will want to hit your skin all summer! You will not believe how replenished and nutritious will feel your skin! This balm is made of all natural, affordable ingredients. In addition, I have added a new and exciting ingredient that will lock the moisture at the cellular level.

I have experimented with a bunch of new additives from Strip Lately and literally it has a meter full of new DIY I try! An additional in particular is Olive oil. It is a constant form of hyaluronic acid and can be used in oil -based recipes. Usually hyaluronic acid comes in powder and must be dissolved in water. This ingredient allows us to add to a balm during the heating phase or heat it on its own and add it to an oil. I didn’t try to add it to anything else, but we put it so that more experimentation had to be done.

Today’s recipe is intended after the recovery of the sun. Whether you are in the sun all day and your skin feels faded or sunbathing, this recipe will help you to make up for and relax the skin after fun in the sun!

After the ingredients of Sun Balm:

Unbounded Coconut Oil It is incredibly therapeutic. This is an ingredient to use this balm to relieve a sunburn. Coconut oil is not the most moisturizing oil so that it can be replaced if this balm is simply to replenish the skin.

Unspecified shea butter It is extremely nutritious. Seals in humidity and softens the skin. It is rich in vitamins A and E and its rich fatty acids, soothe and replenish dry, even cracked skin. It has anti -inflammatory properties to help treat and reduce swelling and irritation. It also has a low level of protection from the sun (SPF 3-5)

Kukui oil It comes from the Hawaiian Kukui tree and has been used for centuries in Hawaii culture. It is actually their state. Like Shea butter, it is full of vitamins A, C and E, full of moisturizing fatty acids of the skin, it can help to accelerate healing and calm inflammation. Oil has linoleic acid and oleic fatty acids, which can repair the The natural barrier of the skin. Another recipe containing Kukui oil is 2 in 1 massage oil. It would be great as a license to the hair conditioner.

Seed oil It is high in vitamin C, making it one of the most effective anti -aging oils. It helps to illuminate the skin, making it more radiant and flexible.

Honeycomb It is what thickens our oils to make a balm. It is incredibly nutritious and acts as a barrier that holds the moisture locked on the skin.

Carrot seed essential oil It is an integral part of this recipe. It is an essential oil full of nutrients, including beta carotene, and vitamins A and E. Seed seed nourishes dry skin and can even reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Carrot seed essential oil has a natural SPF 40 to help protect the skin if you choose to use this DIY during your time in the sun. The carrot seed contains a large amount of carotenoids. Carotenoids have been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The carrot seed essential oil is my go-to summer. I add it to every DIY I use during the summer months. It is in my anti -wrinkles stick which is a fantastic eye serum for the sun lovers.

Lavender essential oil It is a fantastic essential oil to encourage treatment as well as reduced inflammation. It helps to neutralize the smell of carrot seed oil quite nice.

Peppermint It is optional, but I added it for a little cooling. Peppermint is a great pain relief. Since it has such a nice cooling feeling, you may be interested in my air conditioning in a bottle recipe!

Olive oil It is hyaluronic acid that scatters in oil. This means that now we can get the benefits of hyaluronic acid to oil -based skin care products. Hyaluronic acid binds water molecules that moisturize the skin from the inside out. Strengthens the natural skin barrier and helps in treatment by supporting tissue regeneration. It can even help other products to absorb better.

What is Oleo Ha?

In an easy position, it is a form of hyaluronic acid that can be used in oil care creations.

OLLO-HA It is obtained from a small molecule of sodium hyaluronate (HA) and hydrogenated castor oil and castor oil through the unique HA microsphere technology. The small HA molecule is evenly scattered in oil painting. When applied to the skin, OLLO-HA It can easily release the HA molecule to penetrate the skin and nourish the skin from within.

From the outer layer of OLLO-HA It is a lipophilus formed with oil and the HA molecule molecule from within, OLLO-HA It can significantly increase the hydration of the skin and keep the skin constantly moisturized from the inside and out.

Recipe capabilities are endless with these new ingredients. I have already stated a skin mask against aging and work on a hair license I will post soon. Lotioncrafter specifically states its use on lip products for lip treatment and laminating. It’s a little expensive. The smallest amount you can get is 5 grams at $ 12.65. 5 grams is a very small amount, but only .1-2% is required for each recipe.

What you will need to make hyaluronic acid after a balm for the sun:

Materials

  • 2 tablespoons of soup. Unbounded Coconut Oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soup. Kukui oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soup. Seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon. Unspecified shea butter
  • 1 tablespoon. Bee pellets
  • 1/2 tablespoons. Olive oil
  • 5 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops of mint essential oil
  • 2 carrot essential oil

Tools

  • 4 ounces of glass jar
  • pan
  • 2-4 ounces of Pyrex Measuring Cup glass
  • Measuring spoons
  • Mix the stick or spoon

Instructions

    1. Create a double boiler by filling a medium -sized sauce with half water.
    2. Place a Pyrex measuring glass cup in the water.
    3. Add oils, butter, candles and ha oleo (without essential oils still) to the cup.
    4. Turn the stove to the middle and let all the ingredients melt together.
    5. Once everything is moist, remove from the heat and add the essential oils.
    6. Transfer to a jar and let it cool in the refrigerator. This can help your balm get a granular texture in the future.

Notes

  • This balm makes 4 ounces.
  • No conservative is required, as all ingredients are based on oil.
  • I recommend that you save this balm in a glass jar. I saved mine in 2 2 ounce jars So I could hold one in the bag of my beach and one on the bench of my bathroom.
  • The Oleo Ha has a melting point of 162 ° Fahrenheit, 72 ° Celsius. It must reach this temperature so that it is completely melted and not accumulated. You may want to use a thermometer to monitor the temperature of your ingredients.

How to use after the balm Sun:

Apply a thin layer to the skin after being in the sun. This balm can be used while in the sun, but should not be used in the position of Sunblock. I think I have a small amount of sunbathing without suns daily. Applying this swamp during this period could be useful for enhancing a black. Although it contains a few ingredients that have a natural SPF, I can’t claim to keep you from getting a sunburn.

You can use this balm on your face and even as a replenishment mask! If you use as a mask, you will need to remove with a damp, warm wash cloth. I do not recommend using it on your face if you have skin prone to acne.

In a sting, I have even used it to remove the waterproof mascara!

Happy Sunning! xx, Jenny
