Part of the appearance of infusion treatments is the aspect of “immediate satisfaction”.

Come to improve the lips and leave with improved lips.

You want to delete the lines on your forehead or smooth the platinum lines on your throat, you can come for a 15 -minute botox treatment and leave knowing that your goals are on the way.

Especially if you know what to expect, injections are a (relatively) easy way to achieve your aesthetic goals. But, your results are only partially under our control, You have more control of your results than you may realize. (Also, after repeating the following list countless times throughout the day, we finally had the surface to share this information with everyone online. Feel free to add bookmark to this article, this list is an ongoing project and changes as we learn more tips and tricks!;

Note of the author: Do not intimidate from the duration of this list. We have tried to be as comprehensive and thoroughly as possible to prepare you for all your process.

Here are the things you need to do and avoid before botox, fillers and any other injections you may decide to get.

Do not do it before injection treatment

  • Do not take blood cells for 2 days Before your treatment. The most likely culprits are aspirin, St. John’s Wort, Fish Oil, Vitamin E and alcoholic beverages. (They are all anti-collaborators and can increase probability bleeding and bruising.)
  • Non Schedule your treatment in 4 weeks of any great event. Whenever your skin breaks, there is a chance of bruise or swelling, your body will take time to respond to treatment and you may need a sting. Be sure to give yourself enough treatment time before a big event for each case.
  • Do not proceed with lip injections if you had Recent dental work. Wait at least two weeks between lips injections and dental work to ensure that all wounds had time to heal and there is no risk of spreading the bacteria. (The human mouth is so dirty!)
  • Do not undergo cosmetic injections If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. (No studies to confirm that this is safe for the baby.)
  • Try not to come to the appointment with each Applied face products. Some of the things you want to avoid before Botox or others are makeup, moisturizing cream and sunscreen. (But if you do, it’s not a huge problem, we’ll make sure your skin is properly cleaned and prepared before the infusion!)

Do this before infusion treatment

  • Tell us if you have Any story of cold wounds or herpes holidays. We can prescribe medicines to minimize the chances and duration of a possible dissolution.
  • Tell us about any important medical history. Any autoimmune issues, food allergies, bleeding disorders, etc. The better we understand everything about you, the better we can deal with you.
  • Do not hesitate Bring a photo of the desired result. Our definition of “Plumped”, “Smoothed” or “Contoured” could vary drastically from yours. We want to make sure we are on the same page as you and we can guide you as realistic as possible on this basis.
  • Do you have microbladed eyebrows? If so, call your eyebrow provider to see what they recommend for Botox injections with the treatment of your eyebrows.
  • Do you know if you are an easy bruiser? Tell us when planning and we can make suggestions for the products they need to receive in advance to reduce the risk of bruising.
  • Do you like pineapple? Eating fresh pineapple A week before your appointment can help reduce the chance of bruising.
  • Try to Eat a little snack before your appointment. Having food on your stomach during a skin fill, sculptra, kybella, botox or dysport infusion will help you feel light or lightweight.
  • Tell us if you are a puzzle or needles-fees, we can do our best to help minimize your exposure to anything that can make you feel “ick”.

After infusion treatment

Most of the time, people have no problems after infusion treatments. Side effects are rare and satisfaction is high! But there are still some important things to do and avoid after fillers or any other injection treatment:

Do not do this after injection treatment!

  • Do not exert a lot of pressure in the treatment area for the rest of the day. When using a compression on your skin.
  • Do not lie down for at least 4 hours after Botox / Dysport treatment.
  • Do not: participate in aerobic activities for 24 hours after infusion treatments. Although extremely rare, you do not want to migrate any product from the injection point.
  • Do not: sleep flat on your face (if you can help) for 3-4 days after your treatment.
  • Do not: touch or massage in the facial area for about 6 hours after the procedure.
  • Do not: Wear glasses or hats that can press against a processing position for 6 hours later.
  • Do not: Plan a dental treatment up to two weeks after your procedure.

Do this after injection treatment!

  • If you are worried about bruising, use cold compresses (such as frozen vegetable bags) to help reduce bruising and swelling.
  • Remember this Patience is a virtue. The immediate results you see are not in the end. It may take 14 days for your neurotoxin to start fully, and sometimes even more to integrate and install the skin grid completely.
  • Avoid touching The area that was treated for the first six hours after treatment.
  • Limit heat levels Your skin experiences within 24 hours of your injections. (This includes sun exposure and things like heat lamps, saunas or tanning beds.)
  • Take care Stay hydrated And they drink a lot of water, as this will help everything work with its full capacity.
  • Do Add an extra pillow Under your head before going to bed (after skin grid treatments). Added elevation can help prevent swelling.
  • Remember Ask about watching supplies!
  • Remember that there is no reason to rush the results! We prefer a slow process of creation with the effects of infusion (when it comes to adding volume) to make sure your results are as flatterly and beneficial as possible.
  • Contact us immediately If you are experiencing any amazing side effects after your appointment. Fever or chills, discoloration around the areas or areas that warm up to touch and severe pains are all issues that require immediate attention.
