Climate change remains one of the most pressing challenges of modern times. Continuous injection of carbon dioxide and other fossil fuels into the atmosphere threatens to degrade ecosystems, increase the number of extreme weather conditions, and destabilize access to all sorts of resources, such as fresh water, food, land and much more.

Better2Know recognizes the challenges that climate change in our world. Therefore, we are committed to a strategy that will achieve net zero emissions within our business by 2050.

See the full carbon reduction plan.

Who are we?

Better2King is the world that drives the sexual health test organization aimed at improving the sexual and general health of all our patients.

We provide a wide range of services from Sti tests, tips on sexual health, treatment and fertility services. Our goal is to provide everyone with a clear picture of their sexual health so that they can get the treatment and care they need.

What is Net Zero?

When an organization, such as a company or government, is committed to Net Zero, they commit to not adding more carbon emissions to the atmosphere than you get.

Companies need energy to operate a good piece of energy burned by most companies includes fossil fuels such as gas, oil and coal.

When burned, these fuel releases greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane. These gases increase the world temperature by trapping extra energy in the Earth’s atmosphere.

Reducing the amount of emissions is a necessary step in reducing the worst effects of climate change.

How do we count the broadcasts?

In order to determine whether our emissions are reduced, we must determine a picture of basic emissions. Basic emissions are a record of greenhouse gases produced in the past before the introduction of any reduction strategies. It is the base line against which all emission reductions are measured.

We have chosen in 2019 as a representative business year before pre-Koudouni as a key line against which we will determine the success of these strategies.

Click here To distribute our goals and emissions.

How do we reduce emissions?

We are already tough at work by reducing our existing broadcasts. Since 2019, we have reduced our broadcasts from our three offices in the United Kingdom, Spain and South Africa by 48% against the 2019 basic line.

We have achieved this through:

  • Installing solar panels in our UK offices to reduce energy consumed through the network
  • Installation of efficient lighting energy
  • Introduced a conference video to reduce business trips
  • Introduced hybrid and remote work practices to reduce time and energy spent
  • Promoting route exchange programs within the company
  • Going fully digitally to all of our internal and external communications
  • Works with low -broadcasting courier services for logistics samples
  • Selected suppliers based on neutral carbon policies

But we don’t stop there.

We have scheduled projects that will come into force after 2025, including:

  • A transition to full electricity vehicles
  • Creating Corporate Relations with Workshops with Green Policy
  • Adoption of Target Initiative Initiative Initiatives (SBTI) (SBTI) (SBTI)
  • Participation with suppliers in the supply chain of supply
  • By presenting the training of staff viability and the motives of travel programs such as cycle for work systems

How do we compensate for carbon footprint?

The decrease in the amount of greenhouse gases we emit is important to achieve our climate goals. However, we can proceed even further by compensating for residual broadcasting through verified carbon removal systems such as:

  • UK -based tree planting works
  • Investments in Carbon Reception Technologies
  • Reforestation
  • Home lighting
  • Mangrovi
  • Renewable and alternative energy works

A better choice for our patients

We know that our patients are interested in our environment. That is why we want to offer our patients a better test choice that not only improves their own sexual health but also the health of our planet.

Mike Asher, president of Better2Know, had to say about the Better2Kner carbon reduction plan:

“We at Better2 know how to do everything we can to help fight climate change. We are excited about what we have already achieved and also from what we can do in the coming years to reduce our broadcasts even further. Protecting the health of our patients and the health of our planet are part of the same mission. ”
