Sharing some tips on how to make a perfect Mason Jar + salad some of my favorite Combos and Mason Jar salad recipes!

Hi, friends! What are you doing? I hope you have a wonderful morning so far! I’ve been so much! I’ll mention back with all the fun I’ve made on my travels Sharing some stories in IG! I just have the best time last.

In any case, for today’s position, I wanted to share a basic preple meal I love absolutely, especially if you have a busy program and routine: The Mason Jar Salad! Seriously well!

These are a simple but convenient way to pack in a nutritious and satisfying meal and are ideal for healthy meals. One of my favorite things about them is that you can prepare days earlier, so it’s a stunning meal preparation option. I dedicate this post to share practical tips to help you prepare Mason jar salads that are delicious (and not soggy!).

How to make a Mason jar salad

Why put salad in a Mason jar?

  • It’s a lunch option
  • You can customize these salads to match your preferences
  • You can start with the same base and then add flavor variants, so you don’t eat the same thing all week
  • It’s a convenient way to get to nutrients, vegetables, proteins and healthy fats
  • You can make them a lunch or a side salad
  • You can have a ready -made food every time you please

How to lay a Mason jar salad

Step 1

The first step is to prepare all your ingredients. I like to have a mixture of fresh green (rotating types to get different nutrients and benefits), roasted vegetables, proteins (chicken, tone, tempeh, lentils, residues/salmon, hard eggs. Olives, pickles or vegetables, or vegetables).

Step 2

Now you can start laying! The key to Mason jar salads is to lay each ingredient, starting with the highest water content and the denser choices and finishing with the green. I would make beans first, vegetables, grilled vegetables, protein, star and green on top. Anything that adds extra flavor or crunch (such as nuts/seeds, croutons), I would keep on the side in a small reusable bag or container, so that they do not get soggy in the mixture.

Step 3

Keep your outfit on the side. You can use a homemade dressing or your favorite choice that the store buys. I like Primal Kitchen, from whom we order Thrives the market. I have some tips below about salad sauces.

How to eat Mason jar salad

If you are at home, I like to add my jar salad to a bowl, on top with dress and then use a pizza cutter to cut it. From here, I can add extra spices or herbs to the top and enjoy!

If you eat your salad, just make sure you have a wide mouth jars. Add the dress and garnish to the jar, add the lid, shake it, and then remove the lid and eat!

What size Mason jar for a salad

I usually use jars that is 32 oz and I have a wide mouth for a nice, heavy salad. I also like to use glass jars instead of plastic for meal preparation, so you don’t have to worry about plastic chemicals in contact with your food as it sits. You also want to avoid having much extra space in the jar, because extra oxygen can cause food to spoil faster.

How long does the salad last in a Mason jar?

Depending on the ingredients you use, the salad in a Mason jar can last up to 5 five. You can make sure that the salad remains fresh by ensuring that your salad greens are completely dry before adding them to the jar.

Mason Jar salad ideas

I like Mason jar salads allow you to lay fresh ingredients, which help keep everything crisp and fresh when storing in the fridge until you are ready to eat. Whether you are preparing a quick lunch, a rich dinner or a picnic dish, here are some Mason Jar salad ideas to inspire your next creation! I hope you are not hungry, because these are sure to make your stomach grow up in hunger.

Tips for Mason Jar salad salad

Ah, no good salad is complete without the right dress. Mason Jar Salad Dressings is an extremely awesome and practical way to prepare fresh, tasty bandages in advance. Mason not only serves as a way to move and mix your ingredients, but also store and throw easy with minimal chaos. In addition, the compact size makes it very easy for you to make small batches that can be used all week. Whether you make a classic vinaigrette or creamy dressing, these tips will help you make the most of the Mason jar sauces.

Layer ingredients in the correct order.

When you make your outfit in a Mason jar, start by adding the thicker ingredients, such as mustard, honey or garlic at the bottom. Then you can lay the oils, vinegar and spices on top. This will facilitate the renovation and mixing of the dress together.

Shake, shake, shake!

After adding all your ingredients to the jar together, seal it tightly and give a good shake. The shaking ensures that oil and vinegar (or any other liquid) emulsifies and combine in a smooth, tasty dress. For best results, try to move for at least 20-30 seconds!

Let it sit before you use it.

Allowing the salad sauce to sit for about 10-15 minutes before using it helps the flavors come together and develop a more balanced taste. This resting time also helps solid ingredients such as herbs or garlic to enrich liquids.

Make some additional and save for later.

One of the great benefits of using a Mason jar is the ability to store your few days in the fridge! Just throw any remnants back into the jar, seal it and feel free to save it later. Shake again before each use to ensure that everything remains mixed and fresh. When you have finished time to eat good meals, preparing them in front of time can make your life easier.

So tell me friends: How often do you prepare the meal? Do you like Mason Jar salads? If you are a fan please share your favorite combo! I am always looking for delicious new salads and sauces to add to my recipes!
