Whether we protect our skin from the sun or protect it from aging of gravity, it sometimes feels that our skin is under attack on all sides. And in today’s world-working from home, scrolling on our phones or watching our favorite shows-there is another factor to be examined: Blue Light exposure. This high -energy light (Hev) does not only come from the sun. It is also fulfilled by phones, computers, televisions and even interior lighting. This means that our skin is exposed to possible damage for most of the day, every day.

But how harmful is artificial blue light and what can you do to protect your skin? Here’s everything you need to know.

What is blue light?

The blue light is just light on the blue end of the visible light spectrumfalling within the wavelength of 400 to 450 nanometers. It is a short wavelength that has a higher energy efficiency and unfortunately can cause greater damage to the skin.
