11 Women Reveal If They Really Care About Getting Cut

Traditionally, circumcising your son is the most popular option in North America. The argument is that the procedure creates a longer penis that is healthier and less susceptible to infections and sexually transmitted diseases. However, at the opposite end of the spectrum, people believe that not being circumcised also has its benefits, including preventing friction as well as being able to experience significant sexual benefits that the foreskin provides.

According to research published by the Mayo Clinic A few years ago, the circumcision rate among newborn boys dropped from 83% in 1960 to 77% in 2010. And globally, only about 30% of the world’s popular men over the age of 15 are circumcised, according to the World Health Organization. Obviously, things are about to change.

With such discrepancies regarding circumcision these days, I decided to talk to women of all ages and walks of life who have experienced sex with circumcised and uncircumcised men to express their own preference and determine the pros and cons of each. .

Penile Circumcision ‘Tends To Be Cleaner’

As a woman whose preference for sexual activities is oral, I prefer circumcised penises because, as far as one can generalize, they tend to be cleaner and therefore more pleasant to suck on. — Cynthia, 72

2. Sex is different (in a good way) with an uncircumcised man

Personally, I had never seen an uncircumcised penis until I met my husband. And I’ve found that I prefer it! The added skin makes it easier to work with, and it’s different — in a good way. Feeling a bit fuller I guess? I don’t know. I just remember when we first started having sex without condoms, it was awesome sex. It was different, and I wish I could explain how, but I can’t.

I also don’t think it looks vulgar or anything; it doesn’t look much different from a circumcision when standing up anyway. — Cat, 27

Circumcised penises have been ‘mutilated’

I prefer a man with an intact, natural penis. I find it disturbing that a woman would “prefer” a mutilated body part, especially knowing the trauma her husband suffered as a child due to “circumcision”. — Laurie, 41

Circumcision is better, because uncircumcised penises can be “really gross”

Circumcision for sure. Men with uncircumcised penises are often not clean and can be really gross. — TJ, 63

Uncircumcised penises are more sensitive (and therefore feel better) during sex

uncircumcised. The foreskin protects them from rubbing against tight jeans all day, making them much more sensitive. — Penny, 29

There is a chance that an uncircumcised man will be circumcised as an adult due to social preference

I have had partners who were circumcised as well as uncircumcised. All things being equal, I personally prefer circumcision. I like the look, the feel of it in my hands and the sensitivity just under the head. And the real or perceived perception that circumcision is simply cleaner or healthier is very powerful! As a side note, my adult son (who was not circumcised at birth due to the ignorance and bullying of my in-laws), decided to be circumcised as an adult. It was a painful process. I can only hope he finds it worth it. I have a feeling it was. – Katerina, 50

An uncircumcised penis ‘looks like a horse’s penis’

Without a doubt I prefer a circumcised penis. To me a circumcised penis is much more beautiful and more fun to handle. It is easier to target the sensitive spot at the tip of the penis. An uncircumcised penis looks like a horse’s penis to me. I never knew what to do with all that extra skin when handing a job. — Christine, 63

Uncircumcised penises are better for G-spot stimulation

I prefer uncut. The foreskin of an uncircumcised penis increases the girth of the penis and increases pressure and friction on the g-spot. This increased sensation increases the amount of blood flow and results in the ability to achieve orgasm more easily for women. It ultimately results in an overall more enjoyable experience. — Keisha, 23

Being uncircumcised is great, but when paired with a fantastic physique, it’s even better

I prefer uncut. The physical condition of a penis is much more attractive. And the only man I’ve ever seen with an uncircumcised penis had the most amazing body. Everything works. — Victoria, 34

Circumcised penises are more beautiful to look at

This is a tough one because I’ve had good sex with both of them, but I will say that the circumcised penis is definitely more attractive, but the man I’ve had my longest sexual relationship with is uncircumcised, so there’s that. — Sarah, 26

Working with uncircumcised penises can be complicated

I’d say my preference leans a little more towards circumcision. I guess it would be the visual aspect. Uncut is also okay, but there are some people who can’t even get the head out from under the skin. So circumcision wins this round because you have a better understanding of what you’re dealing with and there’s no struggle to drop the foreskin. Which can be a little crazy. — Jammy, 26

So what did I learn? It turns out that age plays an unexpectedly large role in preference. While it seems that the old stigma about uncircumcised penises plays a role in making the uncircumcised penis seem the less attractive of the two to baby boomers, most millennials don’t really care about either.
