The 2024 FIBO Strongman competition took place on April 13, 2024, in Cologne, Germany. Nineteen athletes representing five nations competed in five events during the one-day competition – Log Lift, Max Deadlift, Conan’s Wheel, Sandbag Toss and Frame Carry.

The competition was scored in such a way that the athletes with the highest scores received the fewest points in each event. Therefore, the top of the podium was occupied by the athlete with the fewest total points.

Patrick Aibel, representing the host country, claimed the overall title with 26 points. He was joined on the podium by silver medalist Albin Hasanović and bronze medalist Philipp Zorn.

The Log Lift featured a 140-pound log that each strongman attempted to lift for as many repetitions as possible.

Conan’s wheel is a heavy device that rotates on a center point axis. Each strongman grabbed the device in a Zercher hold and tried to spin the device for maximum distance.
