Since opening the new campus doors at 5:00 A.M. as of August 5, 2012, more than 83,500 babies have been born here. To help us celebrate 10 years on our new campus, we caught up with some of these babies.

2012 – Jack Hammett was born on August 6, 2012.

“It was a wonderful experience – everything was nice and new and clean and clear… I remember me and my husband walking into that room and it felt like we were in a fancy hotel.Sarah Hammett, Mom

2013 – Damyria Richard was born on January 9, 2013.

“My experience at Woman’s Hospital was everything. I remember giving birth to my daughter like it was yesterday. He was born January 9, 2013, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces, 20 ½ inches long. She was my first child/daughter. All the staff treated me so well, made me feel comfortable from the moment I was admitted to the moment we were discharged. I can’t forget the food, it was delicious, especially after having a baby. You must be tired, hungry and thirsty.’ – Terek Richard, Mom

2014 – Leonardo Siguenza was born on May 12, 2014.

“I will always be grateful to Woman’s Hospital for the wonderful care I received after my children were born. Childbirth is such a vulnerable time in a woman’s life. I was treated with compassion, respect and kindness. Thank you for creating such a positive and great environment!” -Anabel Hernandez Siguenza, Mom

2015 – The Chauvin Quadruplets, Reece, Owen, Morgan and Sophie, were born on June 27, 2015.

“We were 8 weeks pregnant with quadruplets when we started seeing the Maternal Fetal Medicine team from Woman’s. They guided us throughout the pregnancy with so much compassion, knowledge and encouragement. The care they provided was matched only by the amazing NICU staff who took our entire family under their wings. The wonderful doctors and nurses put our minds at ease and encouraged two new parents to take on a parenthood adventure like no other! Woman’s Hospital will always have a special place in our family!” – Sarah Clausen Chauvin, Mom

“My experience at Woman’s Hospital has been nothing short of amazing. My husband and I gave birth to our little bundle of joy. It was a remarkable experience for my family.” -Rockelle R Key, Mom

2019 – Addison Ann Smith was born on October 30, 2019.
