Your kids will love making these easy white chocolate chip cookie wreaths to celebrate the holiday season! You probably already have all the ingredients on hand for this no-bake recipe.

This nutritionist and mom of 3 loves Make these quick and beautiful holiday snacks! Salty pretzels and pistachios, sweet white chocolate and sprinkles – what could be better? I say be in and out of the kitchen in 20 minutes or less with a plate of happy snacks to show for it! Say less.

Holiday baking has always been one of my favorite activities. I have so many treasured memories of baking with my mom this time of year and I love passing on this experience where my kids and I come together to bond and make memories without the baking and laughter. Sure, it gets a little messy, but that’s all part of the fun!

Because I’m making these Quick and Easy White Chocolate Pretzel Wreaths

This year, I decided the theme was quick and easy, so we’re making a festive selection of no-bake holiday snacks like No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Reindeer Snacks and these cheery wreaths. (Also try the super-quick, effortless Easy Overnight Cinnamon Buns! We’re serving them on Christmas morning this year!). These Sweet and Savory White Chocolate Covered Pretzel Wreaths were so much fun to make and eat. I added crunchy pistachios for a hint of green color and protein, but there’s more to food than nutrition, so I highly recommend using white chocolate pickling, traditional sprinkles and licorice lace bows when you make these.

How to make these holiday treats

It is so simple. First, I like to arrange my buns into a wreath shape before my kids or dip them to make it even easier.

Then, we go ahead and dip the pretzels in melted chocolate, and return them to the parchment.

Do the same again to create a top layer for dimension and beauty (and, of course, more deliciousness!)

Add the chopped pistachios and the festive sprinkles.

These snacks are a great last minute holiday recipe that come together so quickly and are loved by kids and adults alike!

Your kids will love making these quick and easy White Chocolate Shortbread Wreaths to celebrate the holiday season! No baking required. Plus, you probably have all the ingredients handy! With their crunchy, salty pretzels, creamy, sweet white chocolate and colorful sprinkles, they will add joy to snacking.

Components

  • 60 to 80 mini-pretzels

  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coconut oil

  • 3 tablespoons of pistachios, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons Christmas colored sprinkles

  • 5 pieces red string licorice, also called Pull ‘n’ Peel Cherry Candy

Instructions

  1. In a small, shallow bowl, melt the chocolate in 20-second increments (I use 50% power), stirring between each addition, until melted. Chop the pistachios.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place 6 to 8 pretzels in a circle (using fewer will create a smaller circle, more will create a larger one!), double loops facing out, sides touching. Now, remove and dip a cookie into the melted white chocolate (don’t shake off the excess chocolate!), and return it to its place in the circle. We continue with the remaining pretzels in the circle.
  3. Then, one by one, dip 6 to 8 more pretzels and spread them on top of the first layer. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and sprinkle, then add a laced licorice bow.
  4. Continue with the remaining pretzels, until you have finished all 5 rings.
  5. Freeze for 10 minutes, then enjoy!

Notes

You can move the coated pretzels around a bit to adjust the shape of the circle without having to fiddle with them while dipping.

The more chocolate that stays on the bun, the prettier the wreaths, so don’t rule out that extra deliciousness!

If your white chocolate starts to set, simply microwave for 15 to 20 seconds and stir.

I add a tiny dollop of melted chocolate where I place the bow to give it even more power.
