The lemon -lemon strawberry scones are loaded with fresh strawberries, sprinkled with a lemon glaze lemon and make such a delicious dessert!
Think in spring when you hear strawberry scones? I am definitely! I am so excited about hot weather and spring and summer food! These strawberry scones are very easy to do and end with a lemon glaze. You will love them! They are soft and butter and make the best dessert. The lemon drier is sour and spicy and adds perfectly to the scone.
For me, the scones look fancy, but in reality, it’s easy to make! I’ve done some varieties of scones like Cranberry and Blueberry and these strawberry scones are one of my favorite for sure! When I make a batch of scones, my family always hits them. Feel free to make a double batch if you like what I usually do, since my kids will eat them like crazy. I had these ready to warm up from the oven to the right when my husband and 3 kids returned from school and rated 10/10, even my husband who didn’t always like them.

How to make strawberry scones
For my strawberry scones, I used fresh strawberries. Frozen strawberries would also work well. You are going to make the oat milk first and then mix it with lemon juice to make a homemade dirty butter. Then mix all the dry ingredients together. Mix the butter and then add all the liquid ingredients.
Stir the dough and move it to a ball, leve and then cut into triangles and bake. Scones is a pretty easy recipe to make! For lemon glaze, simply mix lemon juice, powdered sugar and simple yogurt. I used regular yogurt, not Greek, so it wasn’t too thick.
Are strawberry scones healthy?
Strawberry scones are dessert and can enjoy as a dessert! There are some healthier choices you can make! You can use white wheat flour that adds fiber. In the scone of the recipe, the amount of sugar used is very low. You can skip the sugar glaze if you want to keep them on the lighter side.
