According to the International Hyperchidia Union, about 7.8 million Americans are affected by excessive sweating. Usually, we produce sweat during a workout or in warm environments. But people who suffer from excessive sweating often sweat more than normal, regardless of any physical need for it.

Apple cider vinegar has astringent property that controls the sweating process. It helps to balance the body’s pH levels, especially under the hands or feet, to get rid of the bacteria. Being antiperspirant, it forms a coat on the skin that ensures that the pores are closed.

Apple cider vinegar for sweat sweat

  • Using a cotton ball, apply apple cider vinegar to the armpits before going to bed.
  • Leave it for one night and then wash with water the next morning.
  • Continue this process every night.

Note: Dilute ACV with enough water if you experience irritation.

Apple cider vinegar for sweaty legs

  • Pour 1 liter of water and ½ cup apple cider vinegar into a leg basin and mix well.
  • Place your feet on it and enjoy them for about 15 – 20 minutes.
  • The apple cider vinegar can also be added to your bathroom.
  • Follow this process regularly.

Alternative method: Wash your feet with mild soap and water. Dry well and apply ACV using a cotton ball. Allow it to dry completely. Repeat the process daily.

ACV drink

  • Add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the water and mix well.
  • Add honey to the taste.
  • Stir well and drink in the morning on an empty stomach.

Lemon is another effective drug to control sweating. It has citric acid that eliminates bacteria and its pleasant aroma makes it a natural deodorant.

Note: Do not enter the sun after using this method, so the best time is to apply is at night.

Lemon to sweating the armpit

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of each lemon juice and baking soda in a small bowl.
  • Apply this paste to the armpits using cotton.
  • Let it sit for about 20 – 30 minutes and then wash it with water.
  • Continue to do so regularly.

Alternative method: Rub half lemon on the armpits by gently pressing it. Leave it one night or if you can’t, leave it for 15 – 30 minutes and rinse with water. If you are sensitive to lemon juice, dilute it with a little water and apply it using a cotton ball.

Attention: Try the treatment above only before going to bed, as lemon juice can make your skin sensitive. In addition to treating excessive sweating, it can also whiten your armpits or any other part of the body.

Sweat contains certain acids that encourage bacteria to thrive. Baking soda is an alkaline nature, which effectively reduces the level of pH of areas that are prone to sweat in our body simply by compensating with acids. It will also function as a natural deodorant.

  • Combine several quantities of baking soda and corn starch.
  • Clean the armpits well and apply the mixture on them.
  • Leave for 30 minutes and rinse with water.
  • For more effective results, add any essential oil to the mixture.
  • Follow the process regularly.

Note: Be sure to wear loose clothes

Alternative method: After bathing, apply some baking soda to the areas that are prone to sweat. Discard the excessive amount of baking soda and allow it to dry without rinsing.

Sweating maintains body temperature and eliminates toxins from the body. The same is done by eating plenty of water. Thus, it limits your body to produce less sweat. As you already know, stress is considered one of the main reasons for sweating. Water helps your body remain calm in stressful situations. Thus, it is very important to drink plenty of water. Not just water, you can drink other liquids that can help your body to replenish the minerals you lose while it is applied. Here are few drinks you can consume to stay hydrated.
