Try one or more of these games to keep your family moving, laughing and creating a stronger connection!

1. Volleyball Balloon

How to play: Set up a fantastic net or use a piece of string between two points (such as chairs). Use a balloon instead of a volleyball and try to hold it in the air by hitting it back and forth. Alternatively, you can skip the “net” and take turns by hitting the balloon to keep it from touching the ground.

Why is it fun: It is low-level, but it is still excellent to improve hand-in-eye coordination and maintain all their legs!

2. Scanner hunt

How to play: Create a list of items or indications to find around your home or yard. Add natural challenges (such as “HOP to the next indication” or “run to the tree”) to keep everyone moving. Feel free to get as creative as you want and be sure to tell us in the commentary section!

Why is it fun: This game combines problem solving with physical activity and children will love a sense of adventure.

3. Freeze Dance

How to play: Play music and let everyone dance. When music stops, everyone has to freeze in place. The last person to stop moving is out and the game continues until a winner remains.

Why is it fun: This high -energy game is ideal for burning extra energy and works in balance, coordination and agility.

4. Relay Races

How to play: Set a lesson with different challenges (sprints, hopping, crawling, climbing, etc.). Divide into groups and take turns by completing every part of the lesson. The team that ends first wins!

Why is it fun: Referral matches encourage friendly competition, teamwork and give everyone the opportunity to work in different skills.

5.

How to play: Create an obstacle to your backyard or home using pillows, cones, chairs and other household items. Time every member of the family as they tour the course.

Why is it fun: It is customizable and can be as easy or as difficult as you want, providing a full -body training in a fun and creative way.

6. Kickball

How to play: A classic! Divide into groups and play a friendly kickball game where Kicker has to kick the ball and run on the bases without going out.

Why is it fun: It is a handy game that offers a great heart training, while encouraging teamwork and coordination.

7. Label variants

How to play: Play the traditional label or mix it with fun like “Shark and Minnows”, where the “shark” tries to point out “Minnows” as they run in a specified area.

Why is it fun: These fast games take the whole family moves and the variants keep it exciting and unpredictable.

8.

How to play: You all have to fight at a specified point using animals inspired. For example, hop like a frog, waddle like a penguin, or crawling like a crab.

Why is it fun: This game is full of laughter and helps to build power, balance and coordination, while imitating animal movements.

9 Says Simon

How to play: Another retrospective. A person (Simon) gives commands such as “jump”, “run in place” or “touch order your toes”. The key is to only follow the commands that start with “Simon Says”. If someone follows a command without hearing “Simon says,” It’s out!

Why is it fun: This classic game encourages listening skills and can be a fun way to slip on motion without the kids realizing it!

10.

How to play: Take a family ride in the park or nature, but with a twist – a specific project is suspended, such as “skip five times” or “jump over every puddle you see”. We also like to give every children’s bucket and looking for specific objects such as pine cones, acorns or shells.

Why is it fun: This adds excitement and variant to a simple walk, making it the most exciting for children, while it is still easy for everyone to participate.

11. Hula Hoop Challenge

How to play: See who can hit Hoop the longest! Or, set up a timed relay, where each person should be Hula Hoop for a specified period before passing it to the next player.

Why is it fun: It’s a great way to work for coordination and power of the core, all while having fun and competing with each other.

12. Playing of Parachute

How to play: Use a large sheet or parachute and keep the family on the edges. Toss a light ball or balloon on the parachute and work together to hold it by bouncing.

Why is it fun: This game requires teamwork and coordination, making it fun for everyone, while giving hands and feet a workout.
