I have been in a group of men who have met for 46 years. I was thirty -five years old when it started and I am eighty -one now. I want to start a new team and I am looking for ten mid -life men who would like to be in the group with me.
Middle life is a time for change and transformation. Success is reinforced by himself with other men who learn, evolve and support each other on this journey with an experienced driver to illuminate the road. We will focus on the following four pillars:
- Become an authentic self and be the best you that you can be.
- Rating your love for your associate, children, family and friends.
- Hugging your call and bringing your unique work to the world.
- Being a champion for good In a world where so much bad is happening.
Why I am looking for some good men to come with me now
When I returned 80 in December 2024, I began to think of starting a new group of men. I had just interviewed my friend and colleague Chip Conley, Managing Director and Founder of Modern Elder Academy for his new book, Learning to love average life. Chip offered a new and extensive understanding of the medium life change and is described Three stages of medium -life age: (1) 35 to 50, (2) 50 to 60, (3) 60 to 75.
I had the only privilege of joining a group of men in 1979 when I was 35 years old. Changed my personal and professional life forever. The team is coming to an end after forty -six years. Four of our members have died and we have reached a natural end. I now feel to advise and learn with others. I am looking for some good men to participate in an adventure of a lifetime.
The Czech police officer and the disagreement, Václav Havel, spoke with our time when he said,
“Today, many things show that we are going through a transitional period when it seems that something is on the road and something else is painfully born. It is like something that collapses, decomposes and exhausted, while something else, still unquestionable, emerged from the ruins. ”
This is our time to make our role to help create a better world for everyone. Your world needs. Your family needs you. You need you! And we need each other.
Who should consider applying to participate in the team?
- You are a middle -life man who was in a group of men or has examined the possibility of being in one.
- You recognize the value of being with care and supporting men to share your journey.
- You are successful in life and a natural leader, but you are ready to do more and be more.
- You are hungry for a wise community of colleagues in your corner that support your growth, keep you responsible and celebrate your wins.
- You may be a consultant, a coach or therapist, but no matter what you want to help people thrive and succeed in life.
- You are ready to guide you by an experienced old man and want to share what you have learned with other men.
