Olive oil: Olive oil does not cause allergic reactions, but be sure to choose the extra virgin variety. Olive oil contains vitamins A, D, E and K.

Rosehip Seed Oil: One of the most well-known ingredients for healthy skin is rosehip oil. This oil is extracted from the seeds of a rose, which means it is significantly less likely to irritate other types of oils such as argan or coconut oil.

The oil encourages the regeneration of skin cells, making it ideal for antiaging. You can apply rosehip oil to your skin every night before bed and after cleansing your face so you wake up with glowing, soft skin in the morning!

How to use essential oils on your face

Here’s what you need to do to use an essential oil on your face:

  • Dilute your preferred essential oil with a carrier oil
  • Use a few drops per tablespoon of carrier oil for best results
  • Massage the oil mixture all over the face for 1-2 minutes in upward rotations
  • Leave the mixture on your face for 1 minute
  • Saturate a clean cloth with warm water
  • Place the towel on your face and leave for 15-30 seconds
  • Gently wipe off the oil
  • Repeat these steps 5-7 until your face feels clean
