I’m sharing a roundup of my favorite wellness products from 2024! If you want to use FSA/HSA credits before they expire, I’ve included these little asterisks *** for companies that will accept FSA/HSA or can potentially be reimbursed with a medical necessity letter. Of course, check with your doctor and insurance provider!

Hello friends! what are you doing How was the weekend? I hope you had a great time. Ours was low key and lovely. We went out to eat with friends, I taught two barre classes, and we did some holiday baking.

For today’s post, I wanted to share a roundup of my favorite wellness products from 2024! These are perfect as we end December, start setting health and new year goals, and also use up any FSA or HSA credits before they expire. I’d love to hear about your favorite health/wellness products that you love too!

I note that I don’t use an FSA or HSA, but I know many of you do, so if you have any helpful tips, please share them in the comments.

(Note: I’ve also tried to include newer products for this year, but I also have some tried and true favorites that I still use all the time. Because I love all of these products so much, I’m an affiliate for many of these links make it possible for me to win a little giving back and supporting our family and this little blog.

***Nutrisense CGM

This is a fairly new find – I’ve been using them on and off for about two years – and I think it’s one of the most valuable things you can do for your metabolic health. SO many of us are insulin resistant, and by wearing a CGM, you can get instant data on how your workouts, sleep, diet (especially sugar and alcohol), exercise, stress, and habits affect your glucose levels in your blood. I like to wear one every couple of months just to check in and my blood sugar is something I try to monitor as my numbers are often a bit higher than I would like them to be.

They also offer nutritionist calls that are often covered by insurance! I’ve made a reservation and can’t wait to try it out. See CGM plans here and use code GINA50. It’s the perfect time to order now and then you’re good to go after the holidays.

Pure filtered pitcher

This pitcher filters over 360 pollutants and is extremely easy to use. I just fill it with water from the fridge and build it next to my Somavedic. I like these filters because they are cheap (about $100) and you just replace the filter every 3 months. We also have one AquaTru reverse osmosis filter for under the sink.

Lifewave Patches Lifewave Apps

Lifewave patches

These are a very recent favorite and the pilot and I are both obsessed. I have noticed a huge difference in my energy, productivity, focus and libido lol. We use X39. The pilot has a lot more energy! From what I’ve heard, the results get better with time. A girl in my barre class yesterday said she’s been using them for over a year and had a big hair growth – her hair was thick and gorgeous. You can read more about my experience here!

Dr. Cabral Detox

This detox it’s a game changer and I really enjoy completing it every quarter. Our bodies are incredible at “taking out the garbage” on their own, but the reality is that they are not designed to be subjected to so many toxins on a regular basis. Toxins are a stressor to the body and I love this detox to give my liver an extra support and nutritional boost. You can read more about my experience here – I always sleep well and notice that the inflammation is reduced on my face – and order your detox kit here. We launch as a community on January 13th! (If this is your first time joining, use FITNESSISTA10 at checkout)

***Lighting unit

Lighting unit is a pretty amazing tool for assessing metabolic flexibility and how efficiently your body burns carbs and fat. You breathe into the lumen and the CO2 levels in our breath help the lumen determine the respiratory exchange ratio (RER). It rates it on a scale of 1-5 (from 1 to 5, 1 being mostly fat and 5 being mostly carbs) and that number is based on whether we’re primarily burning carbs or fat at the time. Lumen suggests a macro split for the day based on your RER, your workout for the day (you can enter each day’s workout in the app), sleep, and data from the previous day. You can read more about my experience here.

lighting unitIts technology has improved dramatically over the past year, and you can now add photos of your meals, get customized meal recommendations to match your macros, and watch video tutorials and tutorials through the app. You can check it here and use code FITNESSISTA. *I did a little Googling and it looks like you can file for HSA reimbursement if you have a letter of medical necessity.

Oura sleep tracker | My favorite wellness products from 2024Oura sleep tracker | My favorite products wellness from 2024

***Urine ring

I jumped on the Oura train years ago and instantly fell in love with the data and sleep tracker. I took a break while healing for the last year and a half, but wanted to get back on it. Tail it’s gotten SO much smarter and more intuitive over the past year, especially now that it can sync with Natural Cycles.

Cushion for walking

I use my pillow every day. I ordered one of the cheaper ones on Amazon and have been impressed with the quality. It does what it needs to do! It’s a great way to make strides during conference calls and study IHP materials.

Vivarays

I have tried SO many blue light blockers and these are by far the best in terms of design and quality. I was able to learn from the founder at RHS and try some and have some 3 in 1 prescription glasses in the works! I can’t wait to wear them while I’m on the computer. You can check it out and learn more here. My code is FITNESSISTA for 10% off.

****Air doctor

Air Doctors have changed our lives and now we have one in almost every room of the house. They filter so many nasty particles out of the air – when you open the filter to change it, it’s wild to see how much is floating around in the air. My full review is here.

Owala water bottle

I was officially retired from my Stanley and was I LOVE Owawla. There is an optional inner straw. you can use it or just drink from the bottle. They are made of stainless steel, are easy to water and are ideal for travel as they do not leak.

Dome Filter Showerhead | My favorite wellness products from 2024Shower Head with dome filter |. My favorite wellness products from 2024

***Dome filtered shower head

If you filter your drinking water, showing and bathing is a great next step. THE Blurred removes contaminants from water, including metals, germs, bacteria and fungi, and leaves your hair and skin feeling super smooth and soft. Our water here in Tucson is horrible and before, I could smell the chlorine in our shower. It has zero chemical/chlorine smell now. The girls immediately noticed a difference! The showers and amazing humidifiers are eligible for both FSAs and HSAs.

***HighherDOSE sauna blanket, PEMF mat and red light mask

I will sing the praises of HigherDOSE forever because I use at least one every.single.day. I use the Go Mat daily for meditation. And use the sauna blanket 2-3 times a week and you feel incredible. I sleep so well and it makes my skin glow. I’m also a big fan of his red light face mask for boosting mood and possibly helping with collagen production. Use FITNESSISTA20 for 20% off. HigherDOSE favorites.

Therasage blanket weighted

This weighted blanket has a silky soft cover and added EMF protection. Typical heavy blankets use harmful beads, but this one uses healing natural stones of amethyst, tourmaline, jade, rose quartz and Shungite gemstones wrapped inside the 600 thread count bamboo blanket and comforter. It feels like a DREAM. Use code FITNESSISTA here.

Hatch alarm

If you are tired of waking up to an alarm clock, the Hatch it wakes you up peacefully, first with light and then with soothing sounds of nature. For the relaxation function, it can play various nature sounds and instrumental music as the lights change, get darker and then turn off. If you wake up feeling anxious or have trouble relaxing at night, this can be an amazing tool.

Hatch AlarmHatch Alarm

OneSkin

This skincare includes a powerful peptide designed to fight senescent (aka zombie) cells, which can increase inflammation and signs of aging. I especially love their lotion – I use it every day – and their tinted moisturizer, which I mix with the Tarte bb primer and use every morning. The code is FITNESSISTA15 for 15% off!

Barefoot sneakers

This is my favorite brand and I have a full post on why they are my favorite here!

Okay buddy: what’s the best wellness product for you in 2024?

I’m excited to put together my wellness and fitness predictions for the coming year!

xoxo
